Who is working the tribunal and giving me a chat restriction for this.

Hi,

I currently have an in game chat restriction for 24 games and I'd really like to know why. I've worked the Tribunal and I know you can see all of what is said on both teams and who is on which team. Here's a copy of the one game I have chat restrictions for. Funny thing is the chat restriction occurred immediately after I played the one game so that leaves me wondering who is able to work the tribunal? Hopefully not the one person that was trolling our entire team.

The next game I joined immediately after this I already had chat restrictions. How is that even possible? Did this Evelyn somehow have rights to do that after she was the one trolling our team? I know for a fact at least 2 people had reported her and she was the only one to report me. Braum reported Orianna I believe for giving him a hard time all game about his boots. Either way I'd appreciate this game being looked at again and my chat restrictions removed and noted that this was not raging or deserving of a chat restriction. If it was then I'd like to know that as well. Also, this was the only game that caused this chat restriction which seems odd to me as well.

Announcing report intentions in chat is against the rules. All it takes is one report per game from any one person to flag someone so there's no reason to ask anyone to report someone. Just quietly do it yourself, mute rude people like Evelynn who are too immature to play a team game, and report them silently in post game.

You got a chat restriction cause you talk too much. You might be facing that ban soon.

Actually Riot now says that telling the other team, and players to report someone is a bannable offense. (Sad I know, because you figure if someone was truly toxic and abusive, you should let everyone know so they can report cause the more reports=the better possibly). Anyhow, don't ask people to report someone. Remain quiet and report them after the game.

Honestly, you all are pretty dumb pointing out "Oh, you should not ask for reports! that's bannable." Yeah, it is, but maybe he did not know that. I did not know that until I visited these forums, some people do not read up on the updates or changes, it's that simple. Pointing that part out of the chat logs and implying that he/she deserved the chat restriction is absurd and over the top.

This guy was obviously not toxic, harassing, in fact I found him to be encouraging and somewhat positive. Chat restriction not deserved, not for this game. Your previous games may have caused you to get chat restricted. As sometimes, Riot does not send all the games you were toxic in, they only send the latest one that you got reported in.

Hope this sheds some light, if you still think this is unfair, send a ticket.

This wasn't reviewed by a Rioter, as it was only a chat restriction. Rioters only get involved when temporary and permanent bans are on the table. Chat restrictions are handled by the automated system.

You earned this chat restriction, as report begging is considered a type of harassment. On top of that, it does absolutely nothing useful since reports are considered by number of games reported in. Not raw number of reports. 1 report is just as strong as 9 to prevent premades from holding solo players hostage.

The reasons you said things don't really matter either since there is no excuse for negative chat. It won't make a troll or griefer stop what they're doing, and it just brings down the overall morale in the game.

In the future, if you feel the need to report someone, just keep it to yourself. You don't need anyone else's help reporting, and saying you're reporting will not stop them from trolling.

Where did they say this? As far as I know, asking for reports being bannable is just one of those stories somebody made up and everybody rallied behind.
