Banned for 3rd Party software when I've never used it before?!?!?

It said that I have been banned for the use for a 3rd party software. I have never in all my time playing League of legends use a 3rd party software for any sort of reason on any of my accounts. I am very angry and displeased that I have been banned for such a thing. I was playing on my account today (2016,01,11) at my college and about 8 hours later when I get home from school I have my account banned. This makes no sense what so ever and I would like to have my account back please. I have been playing League of Legends since Season 3 and have bought tons of RP. I have done nothing wrong. I have never used any sort of 3rd party software to gain any advantage on players or in general. I do not understand why I have been banned?? This is honestly unbelievable. I have been playing League of Legends for 3 years and never got banned. I have been toxic in the past and I got my rightful chat bans for it and served my time for what I did. But this, this is ridiculous. I have never used anything to cheat or give an unfair advantage to any players. I have worked very hard to achieve the rank that I have and spent countless amount of money and time into this account and I would appreciate if I would be able to get it back. As I have done nothing wrong.

As some other players have correctly identified, you were having your account boosted during the detection period (mid-October, specifically). Your booster utilized a scripting application, and while it might not feel like you were directly responsible, all 28 games spent cheating left significant impact on the integrity of your account and to the competitive experience of other players.

Even during stretches of intense sharing, an account is ultimately responsible for the actions taken on it, and with that in mind, I'd encourage you to review our security guidelines, here.

/boggle The above quoted made my mind explode. Riot guy is right (Obviously) but... the above quoted is just word salad. As a non-native english speaker it sometimes makes me wonder if it's a language barrier but since I'm 100% fluent, I doubt that is the case.

Seems pretty straight forward.. How 'bout I try terms you can understand: Even when you are treating an account like a joint, take a puff of ranked and pass it to your buddy, scripting on an account gets the account banned. Regardless of who was playing at the time.

Basically, the account owner is responsible for everything the account does. If a player cheats while using another player's account, the account owner is held responsible and is punished. Some people would have difficulty understanding it, but is worded nearly flawlessly.

It's not worded poorly at all though. Most people who understand English should be able to read and understand everything that's been said in this thread easily.

In this instance I think it's because English isn't your best known language, that you're taking the grammar and sentence structuring 100% literally according to what you know, which is not particularly a good thing. The things you know about English are mostly guidelines that everyone accepts, and are not strict rulings that you need to perfectly abide by.

Trolling is attempting to incite frustration, anger, etc. Admitting that you are less experienced than your peers in a subject while simultaneously proclaiming that your observation of something within that subject outweighs that of your peers is exceptionally frustrating. Thus, we have a supposition of trolling, which was justified. Since a label of trolling is a judgement based on your actions, and not your character or some other feature of you unrelated to the matter at hand, it is not an Ad Hominem fallacy.

The fact of the matter is you are posting on the NA forums which is filled with native English speakers. Many of whom are sole-speakers of the language for decades. What you've done by admitting to not being a native speaker is set yourself up as an ignorant in a room full of the informed. You are effectively standing on a soap box loudly proclaiming your mistaken belief right while everyone around you is quietly telling you get down and stop making a fool of yourself.

I've given you the time of day because of the slim chance that you are not trolling, high, or something else of that nature. My hope is instead you are vastly over-estimating your understanding understanding of the English language compared to your peers. Please don't make me regret it.

Not sure where your issue is. That is completely fine and fully correct English.

While semntence sturctures such as these, may be less common in English, they should be easily understandable.

Maybe I'm predisposed though, due to German having simmilar constructs pretty common.

He actually just changed a file in the League folder for something (in this case, rito had said it was fine and even had a page on how to do it).

Point being you can't make the blanket statement that "if you were banned for this it's because you cheated 100% of the time" like dumb dumb had said. Nothing more, nothing less.

I'm in the same situation man and I can honestly say i wasn't cheating. I read on a forum not too long ago about someone who was banned but it was a problem with the Riot system. My ticket is still being bumped. I know it's easy for people to say "oh durr of course your cheating riot knows all"but they are people too and their system is definitely no flawless.

posting on the forums about ban mistakes and stuff is a lot more efficient than on the support ticket

So the only thing that I can assume is that their system detected something going on with your account in the month of October. In particular, if you look at your Thresh games, you have a very distinct build (Face of the Mountain) and key arrangement (flash on "D") before that time. During October you go to building Talisman of Ascension and flash on F - there are a string of games where you have success during that time, making it seem as though someone were playing the game on your account.

That being said, I screw around with keys and playstyles for the heck of it all the time and I'm not accusing you of anything. I just noticed that that string of games in October stands out and could be why they flagged you.
