Ranked Play Cooldown After Being AFK

After playing a horrific, long and drawn out game which inevitably ended in defeat after our jungler refused to play and went AFK at level 7, I think it would be a good feature if players who AFK'd in ranked games, were to be given a temporary ban. For example, if a player were to AFK from a game they may not be allowed to play for 48 hours after being AFK. I feel this would deter people from deciding to go AFK and encourage them to play throughout the game to see the remaining 20 minutes of a game through. Players being AFK in games is particularly a common issue in lower elo games.

  • people can have internet issues

  • if you make your idea only for players that turned the game off by themselves ( responded to the automated msg in game " yes i want to exit " ) everybody will just stand i base and troll just to not get afk check and to not get punished.

btw have you ever had a low priority que after afking ? i had , we failed swapped in ranked game and i took one for the team ( it was my fault i went to get a drink ) and did not want my whole team to loose LP so i afk'd so they can remake and not loose the game.

whatever , i got like 30 minutes of waiting before every game. This was the most annoying thing ever and i think the punishment could be bigger but maybe just increase the amount of games you need to play with low priority que. Giving smn suspension for afking wont make a diffrence for players that have more than 1 account. But the low priority does because it stays there
