Why is there no option to disable chat

I've been banned/ chat restricted/ whatever way too many times for being a hot headed riven/ yasuo main. I've calmed down a lot but I just had the idea of why doesn't riot make an option to disable chat all together. You wouldn't be able to type besides commands like message and ff. Idk what else people really use. But you can still read your teams chat. Make the option out of game enable/disable only so you can't change your mind halfway through and flame. I feel like it would be a great addition. As well as after you come off a ban disable chat for a week too. So you don't just get insta perma'd like my other account.

I honestly believe Riot wants people to report and get reported/restricted in this game. Think about it:

They refuse to have mics, even though every other video game has it. Every multiplayer game on pc I have lets me use a mic. Mics are known to cut down on toxicity and are known to humanize players, but Riot refuses to use them, citing toxicity concerns before.
Riot refuses to give you an option to disable chat. "You are one of the 5.0% of most toxic players in the game". But yet, I'm so toxic that you won't let me disable chat.
Riot has taken 6 seasons to even get decent pings and still has work to do on it. Pings cut down on communication/toxicity and it took them 6 season to get here.
Riot will chat restrict you, unless you are asking to be chat restricted. I've contacted Riot and asked for a chat restriction but they refuse. If I'm so toxic and you've given me chat restrictions, why can't I have another one? I asked a Rioter in a support ticket what I could do to earn a chat restriction and if they could give me any tips, but they ignored the question.
RIot created a game where the minute you enter a lobby, you are stuck. Troll picks? Deal with it or take a penalty for leaving. People stealing lanes after it has been called? Deal with it or take a penalty for leaving. AFK'd player? Deal with it or take a penalty for leaving. Team is losing hard and won't surrender? Deal with it or take a penalty for leaving. A player is intentionally feeding? Deal with it or take a penalty. Power goes out? Fuck you, take a penalty. I've gotten more reports due to being stuck in awful games than anything else. I might be toxic, but putting me in situations where I can't get out makes me more toxic.

Seriously, just consider all of that and tell me Riot doesn't want people to get reported and banned?

The money is calling riot are greedy bastards even they make enough money.

You could disbale chat less people got banned and do another account.

I mean they can mute a flamer still there is a ban system for it .... Ok just mute me maybe ? But were is the fairness when afk people or feeders on purpose are in the game I can't mute their playstyle.

Drag your chat box off the screen. Or pull out the Enter key from your keyboard before the game and put it back in after.

I feel you.I'm the same way. What you gotta do is kill them with kindness. Instead of flaming what they did wrong, say what they should do next time. This actually makes them rage harder some times, giving more payback. It's a win win

When they had permanent chat restrict in the game players like you would just run it down mid when they couldn't control themselves, it caused more toxicity than it solved.

Now they just ban you if you can't control yourself.

Hiding chat just allows people to be toxic. Then there's no review and they will continue to spoil the game for People who do use the chat to constructively assist and play the game. don't talk. just push that button and report people at the end of the game. Read this form and enjoy the fact that they will get banned and come here crying that they don't know why, they spent money on the game and that they don't deserve to be banned.

Sincerely, Mostly reformed. ( I still want to defend myself but why argue on the internet you can't win )
