Roles in Normal games

So i'm queueing up for League on my new account, and since i'm not lvl 30 and i don't own enough champs, the only mode as PVP i can play is Normals. As i arrive in champ select some of the players call out the role they want to play, i call top and 2 of my teammates call bot and jungle. The 4th guy then calls mid and everything seems to be all right. Then my 5th teammate suddenly halfway through champ select spam-calls toplane. We tell him that the role is already taken by me, who've locked in Darius, and he should pick support, hence it's the only open role. He says he is top, locks in Rengar, and we proceed in-game where i am then either forced to play with a huge idiot as 2 toplaners, and leave my ADC to lane alone in bot, OR i can go support, even though i was the first one to call my role What am i supposed to do? And how are roles put out in Normal games?

EDIT: Im new to using boards, so i don't know if Player Behaviour is the exactly right place to post this, my apologies! :)

There are no rules against going anywhere you want in blind pick, since there is no role selection. If people want to get their role (and be the only one in it), they need to play draft pick.

Grind bots for 20 champs. Really you probably will only need like 6 or 7 tp play draft because normal draft requires 20 availible champs and 14 champs are free to play each week.
