I say kys as a joke because the other person used a tik tok cringe meme and it was meant as a joke. The other person clearly acknowledged this as a joke as well but Riot just doesn't seem to care and just bans me anyways. Unban me now because this is a huge misunderstanding or you ban every single person who made a joke in allchat. Seriously what are you guys doing? Are you going to start banning people who make jokes in allchat with no context? Wtf is wrong with you people? Please riot take this 14 day ban off and ill stop having fun in chat. Thanks.

Unban me now because this is a huge misunderstanding or you ban every single person who made a joke in allchat.

In the case of this specific joke (or jokes involving hate speech), the latter. Telling another player to kill themselves is not something Riot considers appropriate in any context, "joke" or not. Asking someone else to end their own life has no place in League, period.

i generally dont response to posts like these because the people who post the suicide jokes think their funny and it doesn't ever affect anybody. and continue their toxic chats. so, let me explain something to you. suicide is never something to joke about. those jokes, trigger persons who HAVE experienced the LOSS of a loved one through suicide. how do i know? because i am one of those people. i lost my brother to suicide. your "jokes" are NEVER EVER funny. and they are also damaging to persons who are already depressed and try to play this game for fun,and have suicidal thoughts. you suicide trolls only think of yourselves. selfish. mean. rude. careless. you deserve the ban.

If you truly want to joke around like that then do it in a full premade of like minded people or in private chat. Like it or not the vast majority of people (Riot and myself included) do not find self-harm wishes funny, and trying to pass it off as such is both foolish and insensitive. The ban will not be overturned, so I would suggest you grow up and not try to pass off things like kys as just kidding in the future, as that is not a catch all excuse.

Thank you. I feel the same way. People just don't get it do they. As a joke I proceeded to say 'KYS'. This guy in the enemy team, after losing the game due to an amazing comeback, then reported me in order to piss me off and I didn't report him back because i'm not that kind of guy who does that. I did get the 14 day ban after all and this guy got the revenge he most desired. This is downright stupid and idiotic. People joke about 911, suicide bombers, and get away with it. I joke about suicide, which i'm sorry its a pressing issue nowadays, but it was a stupid joke. I'm not a murderer or a sadist and want nothing but peace in the world. This has all been an over-exaggeration. You do realize League of Legends is considered to be the must rage inducing video game because of people like him. People feed, grief, and int on purpose, those are the people who deserve a ban, not individuals like Julian Caesar, myself and every other player in this game who just wants to have fun.
