Enough with the hate speech

As 2015 comes to an end, so does my patience for verbal abuse in the form of discrimination. There is no reason for any online community (be it a game, forum, or social media site) to allow hate speech unless it's specifically listed as an allowable behavior in the agreement that the members sign. This is not a matter of "freedom of speech". This is the Republic of LoL, and any decisions Rito makes as to what is acceptable and unacceptable behavior is completely up to them, not the written law of country "X".

Rito continues to allow people to use whatever racial, homophobic, or sexual offensive speech without punishment. The ability to ban/suspend players based on chat message is entirely within their technical abilities. Yet, you (Rito) continue to give people the false idea that the community will appropriately report players who violate your posted rules about player interactions.

After 4 years of playing a game that I truly enjoy, and spending hundreds of dollars supporting the company that created it, the constant negative attitude has pushed me over the edge. I can no longer invest time or money in a game that leaves me feeling like I am supporting a company who allows this type of prejudice in their community.

I realize that not all players exemplify this behavior, but those that do simply should not be allowed to play. It should not be up to the community, because enough people support or encourage these shallow minded stereotypes that those of us that will not tolerate them really can't do anything but put up with it.

Enough is enough. Post a list of words that violate the terms of agreement, and ban those who use them. Until then, my mic is dropped. Thanks for taking my money, and allowing me to be repeatedly verbally slandered with no recourse. If you really believe in supporting a positive community, Rito, then prove it.

-Peace

They take hate speech and threats of physical violence etc. very seriously, and often permanently ban players that use it. You sound like you expect Riot to stop them before they commit the crime.
