Permabans being lifted on January ?

So I just heard a rumour about permabanned accounts having the bans lifted to evaluate reforming. Is that "20 level" system re-applied?

He's probably referring to what they were saying about revisiting their "player" bans (tyler1 etc.). Lots of people confuse those with a typical account ban :/

You probably misunderstood what's going on with Tyler1. Apparently, Riot has agreed to lift the indefinite ban - which is different from a permaban - as long as he met certain criteria:

  • He listed all the accounts he's been playing on.
  • A Riot review of those accounts in January revealed no toxicity.

Even is the indefinite ban is lifted, he's not getting any of the permabanned accounts back.
