Tribunal?
The Tribunal has been gone for a pretty long time now due to maintenance it is currently undergoing. Can anyone tell us when it'll be ready for the community to use again?

As far as I'm aware, it's the next project on the list once the new Champion Select is rolled out!

We will be working on the voting system once we've finished up the new champ select.
I thought they had just abandonned the tribunal system in favor of their scripts. Also, I'm quite confused on how the system needs work considering what it does. Unless they're updating it to include video, it should generally be the same thing where you get a number of chat logs from all the games a player was reported in and then have a bunch of people vote on whether that deserves a ban. How did something like that even break?

i wonder if they didn't repair tribunal, why do they let us to report someone? It was like we are writing something inside a recycle. The ton of bad behavior every mins, the only thing u can do that muted someone and report them after 20 mins. Riot is making us like clowns
It's their next big project after the champ select. So I don't know how long that'll take(they don't know), but it is still on the table to be done

The Tribunal has been down for so long now that in order to re-activate it, they would have to update it substantially to include the new metrics you can see in your web match history such as team gold advantage and where each player died each time. This would obviously require a full relaunch and rework of many of the Tribunal's core systems and databases but would make a much better Tribunal for the summoners who used it correctly. This is why it has been slated for its own full project (sometime after new champ select) rather than just turned back on at any point in the last few years.
I'll be waiting. You know, I wouldn't mind Tribunal duties as a line of employment (hint, hint, hint, hinthinthinthintHINT!) Tee hee.
If the real Tribunal ever comes back I will be very surprised, and I am not saying that in a "salty" way or trying to be pessimistic. It has been too long, and with their new systems in place, I doubt they feel there would be much use.
Truthfully I don't know what the point of the tribunal would be anymore as most of the bans and chat restrictions are automatic, and they wouldn't give punish happy players the ability to permanently ban anyone.

'Tis been scraped a while now.
There is no Tribunal and it's never coming back, as far as I'm concerned. It slowly but steadily got replaced by numerous automated systems with large error margins, backed by Riot's rather incomprehensible policies and incompetence.
All we have to do now, is nonchalantly wait untill their non-existant communication departement lets the playerbase know of it.
