I recieved a 14-day ban for the start of the season because I was tilted incredibly hard from mistakes I made and my teamates made over the past few games, and I was wondering of 2 things. Firstly, with the ban being the month after the season start will I still be eligible for seasonal ranked rewards, and second, Do I have any chance of getting rewards from events such as the pool party event last year if I continue to be reformed for a long enough period of time.

I believe a ban exceeding the fourteen day chat restriction does prevent you from getting seasonal rewards. I'm not sure about the "Pool Party" event you've mentioned though.

Yes, some players are ineligible for rewards because of negative in-game behavior. This applies only to the 2015 season. Here are the details:

  • Players with bans or chat/ranked restrictions active when the season ends are ineligible for this year’s rewards
  • Players banned for seven days or more in the three months prior to the end of the season (August 10) are ineligible for this year’s rewards.
  • Players banned for boosting during the 2015 season remain ineligible for rewards
  • Players who experienced fraud-related and erroneous bans will still be eligible All players will have another chance at future ranked season rewards. Source

They haven't announced, yet, whether good behavior has to cover the entire season. I can't imagine it will, because then you would get players who start to think "I'm already screwed out of rewards, I'm going to ruin everyone else's, too." I'm not saying you would do that, but I have seen posts that have that mentality.

As far as events like Pool Parties, they often have a window during which they check for good behavior. And I know there was talk of random rewards that only check for the time period since the previous reward (I don't know if there has been any further development on that aspect).

For the events I believe you usually just have to not be actively serving a punishment of any sort to be eligible. That is subject to change, though, if Riot chooses to do so.

For ranked, we have no way of knowing how exactly they'll handle it this season, because it's been a bit different each season. But historically, punishments this early in the season have not resulted in exclusion from ranked rewards.
