Ranked Games need to have the same Leaver System as Overwatch.
Hopefully this is the right place to put this. Please move it if it isn't.
This rant is coming fresh off of a game where my top laner went balls deep into the enemy jungle four times, died four times, then ragequit at about 9-10 minutes into a game.
The remake system that's in place is great in that it helps people deal with players that don't load in due to technical issues or because they realize too late that they didn't take smite as the jungler and alt + f4 (it was one time, I'm sorry). However, I find that the majority of the leavers I encounter in ranked usually quit between the 6 minute to 14 minute marks, after it becomes obvious they've lost their lane. Remaking the game wouldn't work in this case, since you would be robbing the enemy team of a probably win (usually they have to get ahead in the first place to make someone ragequit). League of Legends needs the same system that Overwatch has when it comes to dealing with the people left behind after a leaver. Players on the same team as someone who has been gone long enough can leave the game without penalty, while the enemy team still gets the win that they probably deserve. Things work out fine for everyone, except for the leaver. You could even just implement this in solo/duo queue, since I could see larger groups that play together often possibly abusing this to minimize losses.
I'm curious as to what you guys think about this.
