This game is dying

Well Let me begin by saying this is one of my first accounts since is started playing back in s2. I met a lot of friends and made plenty of memories, but as time went on, people stopped playing on a number of reasons. Either they weren't good at the game or they didn't like the changing times so they just got pushed aside. I remember a time that you wouldn't get reported for saying something that you felt strongly about, specially when it came to conflict of logic and common sense. where we would exchange words instead of reporting each other because one did bad or the other can't stop cursing at the team. Now its different. You cant say anything to anyone, they are super offended and act like because they bought the latest skin they could play without logic and common sense but be rewarded for reporting a player who attempted to carry them or even went as far as explaining how turn the game around. ive been in scenarios where i have explain whats the problem while trying to have a team fight. Clearly the community has done a number on many players but this tribunal system isn't fair either. This game just builds up your attentiveness to pattern, you just can read the next wrong move a player is gonna make because you've seen it many times, and by you telling them or asking(sometimes begging) to listen to you but all you get is a report at the end of the day because you don't lack communication, infact you have so much of it that it gets you in trouble to voice yourself. i get it, riot is not about being mean to players...yeah its also not about being honest with the players either. If that was the case then any honest advice or remark from a player to another player wouldn't be such a problem like it is now. Communication is Flaming. if you haven't been called flamer for voicing the only things that could salvage any loosing game then ...you are very lucky. this game doesn't deserve the attention and detail many players like my self give it. I think its time to finish this chapter, thank you for finally showing me that the changes for league arent about the fun of the game but the gain of the industry. Lets not even talk about the streaming community or the unhealthy lives that force themselves to play another game, thinking that riot would have a safer way of developing a community/game. I wish to remain strong and not come back to this game, i also wish all the players and makers of this game good fortune and i say one final thing. It is not your fault, you like myself. Don't know no better.

To be fair, the title of the post is only telling an obvious truth. Anyone that disagrees with that statement is a deluded faboy/girl.

All games die. Including ones with millions of players. League has shown a decline throughout the seasons by player analytics. To deny such a claim is to deny reality.

However, with that being said, I still enjoy the game, and now I disregard chat entirely, after having my permaban appealed. What I've learned is that if you say anything that could be considered toxic in the slightest, Riot will punish you, no matter the context. You could even be degrading/judging yourself.

Just some food for thought.

This just sounds like "I want to be toxic because I liked how toxic I could be back in season 2, before Riot started the player behavior push"

Lucky? No! I just have the mental capability and necessary knowledge of the english language to write sentences that are insult and harassment free.

But maybe my wisdom and intellect just surpass the avarage player by such a large margin, that it renders me unable to find any understanding for what you think of as "appropriate behavoir".

Keep downvoting the original poster. he isn't wrong, you know? Just like the egoistical know it alls who downvoted the LAWYER who dealt with conflict resolution IN REAL LIFE, who knows FAR more about people than anyone who programs, develops or moderates a riot game (fun fact: get out of your house and get out in the real world--not referring to you, OP)--that lawyer spoke the total, complete truth about people, how they react and what the precise flaws in Riot's system are. Yet most users on this forum are too ignorant or too young to even be aware of history, much less gaming history.

A few of you were on USENET during the Derek Smart tantrum wars, and witnessed the original death of the Flight Sim and Space Sim communities. One of the early death kneels was (i can't remember his name), the Thrustmaster co-founder who was an actual F16 fighter pilot, leaving the company due to a huge change in direction. This followed by most of the active developers of the flight sim and space sim genre leaving the newsgroups due to the abusive community. But I'm getting way off subject.

Have a nice day. BTW this game will die eventually.

It's not luck that we haven't been punished. It's that we understand what is expected of us.

As long as you keep assuming it is luck you will never learn. Good luck in life. You're going to need it, I hear not learning from mistakes makes things pretty hard.
