Permanently Suspended for using "Skin Preview"

I was perma suspended from using a program called "Skin Preview" and all it does is change the cosmetics of the game such as skins, particles, etc., but yet i was still banned. I've already contacted riot support and they only told me that I was using a "malicous 3rd party program" and the only 3rd party program i used was Skin Preview. Before using Skin Preview, I used mkjogo/mklol and i received a warning for that program because it had jungle timers, so i switched to Skin Preview, which doesn't do anything but change skins. Also if it is possible for a rioter to show me the program that was detect as "malicious," I would appreciate that. I already tried to ask riot support to show me the "evidence" but they said it would interfere with the investigation. Being that it has been a good 2 months or so since i've been banned, is the investigation over or no?

I clicked on Jax and it brings me to a menu where you can select all these different skins. Then you can click the apply button in the bottom right to apply the skins: http://i.imgur.com/fYFgAWk.png?1

After reviewing all of this, can a riot member confirm to me whether this program is bannable or not?

Asking around about this; I'll get back to you once I get a definitive answer on the specific program as I've never heard of it before.

Skinhacking isn't allowed, said many times, perma won't be reversed.

If the program doesn't effect your gameplay or give you an advantage over your opponent then its not ban able

Riot is fine with custom skins, but I believe they are against programs that simply unlock official skins.

You can't use programs that change your champion skin into a riot made skin. It might seem harmless for you, but riot loses money because of that. (You not buying the skins). Custom ones are allowed though, so you can use skins that ARE NOT CREATED BY RIOT and not get any warnings and/or bans. I hope that explains it, and that ban is perfectly acceptable in my opinion.

I just want to know from a SkinPreview user, have u gotten any random websites popping out when u opened the program or had any bugsplat because you used a ward skin or recall skin?

3rd party programs leaves an unprotected back door into their security.. the cost of allowing people to use any program not officially authorized by riot compromises more than you know.

Idk, using ritos skin as customs seems like ban to me, even if it's only you that sees it

I know that you can use customs skins that Rito didn't make, like kshaway does in his off meta videos, like AS braum

You are knowingly and willfully gaining access to intellectual property via a third party without the permission of (or in an attempt to circumvent) the copyright holder. Further, you are doing so without proper conpensation to the copyright holder or authorized distributor. This is not only against the Terms of Service, but it is actually illegal to do this.

This happened months ago and still no response from any Riot employees? Just shows how much they care about their community, games already declining in number of players big time, slowly dying because all they care about is how to make more money.

the thing is ..I don't blame Riot for banning you. But, i blame them for not banning everybody that does that:)..alot of streamers use this program..Why are they not banned???
