If we add a player than block them will they be removed from being on my team in all future games. I feel like this feature would really help players avoid the very toxic and rude players. I have had the same guy in queue for 3 games, which I feel is unfair because he had the same attitude every single game. He would die once, blame the jg then int. I even tried waiting a minute before queuing up again.
This would greatly increase queue times due to people abusing it.
It would greatly decrease the efficacy of matchmaking in that players could "game" the system.
It would create a "prisoner's island" of toxic players, which Riot has said they're firmly against.
Overwatch briefly did this, and it wreaked havoc on their matchmaking system.
In other words, it's a good idea, but in practice it's prone to abuse.
lets say you blocked about 50ppl, but at the given time for your region and rank there would be 23 out of these 50 + 3 others avaible. It would take you hours to find a Match that has no player blocked by someone else and it would involve having lots of unranked/new smurfs in your matches this then would ruin your match and you would be forced to spend another 1.5h to search for a new match.
Why? Anytime you see a toxic player or you yourself are being toxic, the chances of meeting up again in future games is slim to none. And why do you care that you have a chance of meeting up with the same player in the future? Do you hold a grudge that badly toward anonymous people?
I'm absolutely sure that we should have an option to permanently block 3-5 players - it totally wouldn't cause any issues during queueing and it'd help us avoid the most toxic players with similar rank, playing in the same queues, who we meet sometimes. I had 2 rankeds in twisted treeline today versus the same 3 premades and it was... in the name of the Jesus Christ, that was the most awful experience during my league of legends career. They were saying the most offensive things possible on the chat through all the game, even if I muted them after ~7 minutes of the game, I'm still feeling very badly after this - such situations are putting me closer to quit LoL forever (around 2 years ago I quit because of toxic players and several weeks ago I started playing again). Players should have an option to block few players, no more. It's really enough - such situations are really rare but they're also really ugly.
this community is pillow soft i wish i could block them all but riot wouldn't do it because they make money off of people like us remakin accounts after they claim our money and time
I would have no one else left to play with if I had this feature >)
if u block them they can still be in ur future games but u wont see any dialogue from them during pre-game, game or post-game
