Honor Level 0 Not Increasing (and not part of reset)

Hello!

Earlier this year, I was given a 2 week ban (without warning, but that's fair) for something toxic I said to an individual in a game. I don't remember exactly what it was, but I'm pretty sure I'd told them to "stop being such a %%%%licker and just kys already". I served my 2 week ban, and I've played at least a hundred games since then, usually receiving 1 Honor or more in about 75-80% of my games (the ban was during the summer, and I've played actively every month since then except September).

I was informed by my friends that Honor was resetting to 2, so I didn't stress to much about it the last couple of months, but now I'm finding out that, not only is my Honor still at 0 after not a single ounce of toxicity (despite some pretty rough games) since my punishment during the summer, but that, since my Honor Level is at 0 at the time of the reset, I will be stuck at 0, still unable to reap the benefits of Honor in the game.

I understand that my Honor level dropping to 0 was my fault. I was toxic that game (and maybe a couple before it, but that was the only line in the chatlog handed to me that was toxic), but I served my time, was an honorable player before that (played the game since October 2011 on and off with only having a 24 hour Leaverbuster ban due to internet issues in March 2012) have been an honorable player since, and hope to continue to be one.

I'm not asking for an Honor increase for this season, because I feel it is fair that, since I was a dishonorable player at one point in the season, I deserve to not get anything for it. Instead, I'm asking for my Honor to reset to the default of 2 (no checkpoints, based on your new system) at the time of reset when the new season officially begins. I feel that, since a new season resets your ability to earn rewards at the end of the season, Honor levels should be one of the things considered in this, since Honor results in receiving rewards at the end of the game during a season.

I want to know your thoughts on this, and I would appreciate a Rioter's response to this as well.

I thank you for reading this, and I will be possibly duplicating it to League's subreddit in the hopes that this becomes taken into consideration by as many as I can.

If you scroll down a bit, Tantram responded to two similar threads earlier today.

The common theme is that folks stuck at Honor 0 seem to be exhibiting low-key toxicity that, while shy of triggering further punishments, stops them from climbing. That may be what you've been doing. Tantram probably won't respond to this thread, but you might get some specific examples through a support ticket if you haven't already tried one.

Here's the damn truth. Riot does not give half a turd that they poop out in the morning about any single person who plays their game outside of pros. They've screwed over all new players with this IP/BE/whatever thing (I have multiple friends I recommended to the game drop out due to this change because it just WASN'T WORTH IT ANYMORE), and they don't give a crap about CURRENT players because they spent an entire year telling them they'd be reset with honor, ranks, everything. to single out those at top tier to make them feel better. Do I encourage toxicity? No. But my twin brother has been at 0 honor for 6 months and has literally disabled all chat and refused to speak in games for months in hope that he'd increase, and he's gotten NOTHING. And now he won't even reset. RIOT DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOU. RIOT DOESN'T CARE ABOUT ANYONE IF THEY AREN'T BEING PAID TO PLAY THE GAME. Let it go, move on to a different game with a company that DOES care, and stop loving this game with the recognition that loving it only screws you over in the long run. After 4 years of playing, I've had to make that choice. Let it go.
