How is this deserving of a 25 game chat ban? I can't even

And why do chat logs not show what the other players are saying? Two people were flaming me super hard. They lost their solo lanes 1v1 and started to flame me for it. These automatic chat analyzer scripts (or however Rito has automated this function) are unfair.

Chatlogs only show your chat because you're the only one typing for you. You can't control what your teammates and opponents say, only what you say. You aren't punished for what others say, but your own words.

Things are said in context though. I could easily take anything someone says and quote it out of context and make it sound really bad or really good. The media does it all the time.

And what was so bad about anything I said? I only defended myself and did not harass anyone. I only got flagged because 2 people were in a duo and in discord together, and reported me.

Here is negative attitude and giving up. Other than actually surrendering, you're still supposed to try and keep a positivei attitude(I know this can be REALLY REALLY REALLY hard depending on what yahoos you get matched with) and not be a negative nelly. And until the nexus blows up, then you still need to try your best to win.

No cussing or outright flames here, and I've certainly seen worse, but you are still berating your team. I know it can rough if they blame you,(I main jungler myself) but you gotta either just say something funny like "Oh you silly goose" and brush it off and play or just mute them. Don't get dragged down into pointless arguments.

And the "go b dummy" wasn't to cass, it was to fio top bc she was sitting on tower at 3 hp waiting for a wave. That was not an insult and I was friendly to her at that point. When I started telling cass the " what did you do?" was when she started flaming me. Honestly I'm the victim here and I got punished. It sucks.

So wait, giving up means you get a chat ban? That's not what the punishment was. And I did not go afk or anything. I said this as the enemy team was killing our nexus towers after an ace.

You don't need to curse or say provocative things to be deemed toxic. You just need to be negative.. & you were.

This is my guess as well I mean you typed 3+ lines for some things that happened from the looks of it. I know you didn't add context, but that's what it looks like at a glance. There are no time stamps or lines to read between the messages. Maybe you were flooding the chat and you were reported for that. Maybe you were spamming pings and that was the reason instead. Could've been something like that.

See this is completely out of context. You can't see at what point anything was said. You're assuming something bad about me when all we have is this stupid one person conversation. My point is that this automated system is unfair and they should just remove chat bans altogether.

It doesn't matter if you intended for it to be an insult or not, the system would still probably pick up on it. If that was all you said then you would have been fine but it considers that along with EVERYTHING ELSE you said.

And it doesn't matter if people start flaming you. Just call them a silly goose and mute them if you can't handle it. You have nothing to gain by "defending yourself" and retaliating. They're not going to suddenly admit they'r wrong and magically start playing better. The system doesn't care what they say either when looking at your case. It just cares about what YOU said.

Now, when it reviews THEIR cases, it will just look at what THEY said and not give a damn about what you said.

And yes giving up is punishable. People play this game to WIN. I and many others don't want negative nellies on our team who just want to complain and give up if things go bad.

As for the punishment, that depends on the tier level. You're at the 25 game chat ban right now. If you don't learn your lesson here and then the next punishment is the 14 day ban ban, and after that will be a perma.

why would I care about your context? What I care about is "were you negative?" answer is yes.

so this chat will become a valid report and be part of the cause in punishing you. There were probably lots of other games you did this in.

Anything else is you not understanding the system or you are in denial.

Yeah that's rough and of course they blamed you. Classic jungle blame. That's literally why I don't play jungle lol. Anyways, I know your logs aren't bad and all... this is just me trying to help you protect your account, not a reflection of my opinions or values.

Next time, when people start flaming you, don't explain to them the reasons behind your actions. Don't point out scores and how your allies are losing... don't tell anyone to stfu or call anyone a dummy, regardless. Key word; regardless. Rito doesn't give a shit about retaliation. They want people to stop the argument before it even starts, not add to it.

The best thing to do in this game is swallow your pride, and never engage with flamers. Utilize the mute button if you're the type of person that can't look at online insults without responding in kind. It's for the sake of your account. The easiest thing to punish for is chat, because it's automated, so the second you realize you're arguing with your team, just stop yourself. There's literally no benefit to it.

This is so dumb though. Now I can't communicate with the teams that are actually doing well so now my games are even harder to win. It's a sever disadvantage to chat restrict someone. If their feelings get hurt, they have a mute button. You shouldnt get chat restriction unless you threaten someone irl imo. Now I can't climb the ladder as easily because I cant type out what I need to say in my games that actually have a chance of winning.

Yes you have a mute button too so I don't know why you preface your post with "they were flaming me super hard". Just mute them. As far as the communication, pings are quite sufficient. It may be dumb, but thems the breaks.
