Reported for banning others champion

So I'm a top lane main who likes to play mostly tank champions (Garen ,Darius ,Maokai) and I got stomped so hard by Vayne players that I decided to perma ban Vayne in ranked,even if my adc wants to play Vayne (of course I would not ban Vayne if my adc is first pick).

But since I ban Vayne almost everytime it happens that my adc (and sometimes the entire team) would flame me and threaten to report me (I'm pretty sure I got a ton of reports from this).Of course I would not flame back or harass them.

I just don't wanna see that champion anymore.My question is: Am I in danger of getting banned ? Is what I'm doing against the rules ?

It's not bannable to do, though it does give one of the worst first impression to go into the game with. My advice, don't respond to the flame, don't bother responding to anything. Just do what you intended to do when you pressed "Play" and try to win. If you do, you will be on thin ice depending on what you say. It could trigger a penalty if you say the wrong things or keep responding to the negativity.

Though I should note, banning hovered champs isn't exactly a pleasant thing to do. Regardless of your intent.

It's not against the rules, there are no rules concerning who you're allowed to ban. I happen to disagree with the thought process behind that fact, but such is life.

Careful of tilting your teammates.

I just try to take pick order into consideration, they can dodge if they want.

If banning a hovered champ wasn't allowed you wouldn't be able to do it.

If you're first pick or close to it, offer to grab vayne for your adc who wants to play her so that the enemy team doesn't get it.

You're not in danger. But expect some not so nice words in game from your adc, if you ban away his champion. I do the same with Riven though... People just gotta deal with the fact that you're using your ban the way you want, regardless of what other people do or want.
