I was in a game with a few friends I met on League in a normals game it was a group of 5 and we were all together and we were on a big losing steak and the last game before it all happened I was playing mid and they were all dying and I asked my jg nicely to try to please stay away from their jungle, and these "friends" turned on me and started calling me trash and telling me to delete the game when i had done nothing wrong and I hadnt even died at that point. After a while I started to try to defend myself and then tried to stop it all and ask the enemy team to report my team I was going to unfriend them at the end of the game for they were doing. But after that my team started putting the whole blame on me and then everyone was becoming toxic and salty and harrassing me telling me to go take a pill delete the game you are trash. I repeated a few things that they said to me in chat to try to prove they were toxic to the other team but my "friends" just tuned it against me and more harrassment came my way. After the game Im the one who got punished and Im the one with the 24 game chat restriction for little to no reason so now I am pissed . I get the punishment from defending myself against 9 people who were harrassing me, and yes I could have muted them but when 9 people are talking shit and making you feel like the gum on the bottom of their shoe its hard to just stand there and do nothing this is outragous and Bull.

You decided it was more important to get into a stupid argument with your entire team that devolved into you posting that dumb shit in all chat and involving the other team in your drama - all of which achieved absolutely nothing, and consequently blew up in your face.

You could have muted them instantly, carried on with the match and moved on with your life.

You didn't get punished for defending yourself. You got punished for breaking the rules. It is not your responsibility to take action when people are toxic towards you. You could have muted them and reported them after the game. They had every right to report you for your action just as the same for you to report them for theirs.

Plus it's hard to believe that you were just defending yourself with no chatlog.

It is when they are telling you to go pop pills which riot themself can see and refuse to do anything about.
