Two week ban for a report in ONE game???

I get trolled the entire game and then the trolls report me. kids harass me the whole game for dying when i'm 1v2ing top lane the entire game, Report me and i get a 2 week ban. Nice bot. This game is so fun.

You should take your own advice and read the summoner's code yourself. If you're toxic in this one game, you're toxic in many others. You shouldn't be typing to that person, especially insulting him/her like that. Everything you just said and did was against the summoner's code.

When teammates are intentionally trolling it is perfectly acceptable to get upset, especially considering riot doesn't punish people who troll, they only punish people based on a bot that detects chat that is entered into the chat box. Its not like they can sit there and record every single game and monitor it, its ridiculous. Trolls thrive in this game simply because they know they can do whatever they want as long as they type little to nothing and throw games and it doesnt matter because riot does nothing about it, and reporting them for it can't get flagged by a bot like it can someone venting out of frustration.

No. Raging at trolls is not going to do anything but get you banned. Report and move on.

Riot doesn't promote trolls, but it just takes longer to track them down and prove intent compared to simple chat-related offenses. Gameplay related offenses when proven to be on purpose are assigned a 2-week ban as the first punishment. In case you don't believe me on this point here are two examples of gameplay trolls being banned. Yes it's just two examples, but it proves that they do get punished. Also, you're allowed to get upset, but you're not allowed to take it out on your teammates in-game. When you flame at a problem player you're giving them the exact kind of reaction they wanted out of you. Next time if you must rage then do it at the screen instead of in the chat. That's what I do and I have yet to receive any kind of warning or punishment.

While yes, it is an acceptable response to get upset, many people do. What is not acceptable is retaliating against said trolls. Flaming the other person is not "venting", it is retaliation.
