The tribunal has been down since summer 2013 LMAO i havnt gotten punished or anything but i think its dumb how an automated system can instantly ban a player not even taking count of the situation or the harassement of others that would push someone to retaliate harder. This is a huge flaw in the game's functionality as an automated system can't understand and can never be just. Either bring back the tribunal or some kind of system that reminds you how many JUSTIFIED (CHAT LOGS VERIFIED BY AN ACTUAL PERSON) reports you have until you are suspended.

something along the lines of-

Summoner,we have recieved feedback about your recent games and we see that you aren't being sportsmanlike. We like to keep the game clean so players can play more efficiently. You have been reported for negative attitude all around (EXAMPLE)- 12 times in your last 4 games. We advise you to stay sportsmanlike and to not use vulgar language as you have 8 reports left before action will be taken on your account.

No one wants to get banned so maybe when they see that message they might shape up and not flame anymore.( I know it would work on me i got perma banned 3 years ago cuz of toxicity if i would've seen this message i would've stopped in a heartbeat)

anyways what do you guys think of my new idea if you like it UPVOTE THIS

Downvoted this. Tribunal was way too inefficient. And your fault for using vulgar languages.

even with the tribunal, those with constant mild toxicity would get punished.

A system such as the Tribunal is easily corruptible (as it eventually became) when players just pressed the "punish" button without even bothering to understand the nuances of the chat logs.

It led to too many false punishments, and was too reliant on the "community" to do an effective job of removing toxicity.

The IFS is much more effective and is a smart AI capable of machine learning to understand human language patterns within sentences and words.

It scans a game's chat logs for toxicity and understands the context in which a player is either being toxic or not before issuing any penalties against a player's account.

NO, BUT IT IS THE SAME TIRED BEGGING FOR THE RETURN OF A USELESS, DUMB, INFLAMMATORY, DISORGANISED, DYSFUNCTIONAL AND MORONIC SYSTEM WE HAD A THOUSAND TIMES OVER BEFORE.

Here's the thing: the situation doesn't matter. If you are getting flamed or berated or harassed, flaming, berating, and harassing back cannot be justified. If you fight fire with fire, you are literally as bad as the people who instigated it.

Harassment, in any form, even retaliation, is against the rules. That the automated system ignores the situation is a good thing, because the situation shouldn't matter.
