I got a 14-Day Ban, was it justified?

So to preface this, I was playing with 2 of my friends and was trying to get the discord to work, hence the "can you hear me?" in the chat log, and I was disconnected from chat in champ select but it didn't seem like it, because my chat went through but I saw nobody else's. I thought I got top and picked my champion. (Pantheon Aery rape, I know, I'm sorry, I should be banned for that alone) In the beginning of the game I went top and Lee was also top and realizing that it was my mistake, I threw one q at the enemy top laner (I helped my Lee Sin) and teleported bot lane to support my adc.

I got a 14 day ban from this. The nature of the things I said was fun and that was shown through my "let me rage %%%lord" and "gj lee keep carrying %%%got", and "lee sin shits during champion select".

By the end of the game I was 0/10/4, which is bad, but most of our team was also feeding. And the Lee went 7/8/3. I was duoing with the Ashe and Jinx(all feeders heh). Playing Support is hard especially when you didn't have a support item to start off with and were up against an MF and Lux, both, with Aery, absolute rape.

Personally. I think the instant feedback system might be a problem because why does it matter if someone rages at you? That's what the mute button is for. The only time someone should be reported is if they intentionally feed or leave games. (This was a normal game) I lost my honor 5 from this game as well.

While you may consider those things to have been "fun," the Lee Sin obviously did not find it fun.

And when you combine it with these other things, it really doesn't look like you were joking. It looks like you were raging at him because of him being top lane. But honestly, whether you were joking or not doesn't matter. Hate speech is hate speech, and Riot has zero tolerance for it. A first offense earns a 14 day suspension, sometimes even a permanent suspension depending on how severe it is.

Be aware that your account is on very thin ice at this point. Any further behavioral infractions, even minor toxicity, before your account has a chance to work itself back into good standing will result in a permanent suspension.

If you want to tell "gj lee keep carrying %%%got" to your friends, do it on discord not in the game chat, you know people got banned for less than that.

I'm gonna quote the summoner's code for you :

Remember, taking a jab at your friend in the middle of the game is a lot different than making a glib remark at a complete stranger. Someone who is unfamiliar with what you consider playful may take your comment as an attack and react unfavorably. If two players on a team start fighting, good communication and teamwork become nearly impossible. Once communication breaks down, the likelihood of victory is drastically diminished. It isn't uncommon for simple, good natured teasing to spiral out of control into a loss, so do yourself a favor and don't run the risk of sabotaging your own success.

So it might be a good idea to read the summoner's code :)

Did you maybe consider that it's not the person that you were raging on that reported you ? Maybe other teammates don't want you to spend your time flaming people instead of playing the game, maybe they think that instead of typing stupid things in chat you could have come ganked another lane, go ward/remove enemy wards, go take an enemy jungle camp, go steal their redbuff, look at the enemies items, focus on cs, anything you could have done to help your team win the game ! Maybe other players don't want you to flame someone else during their games, given that there is ALWAYS something better to do like the examples i stated before, **and especially when there’s another 3 people (or 8 if what you said was in all chat) that you’re forcing to watch what you say. **

If someone acts like you in one of my games and flame another teammates, i'm gonna report the flamer not because he is being mean to someone else, but because i want him to play the fucking game instead of acting like a 10 years old, i don't give a fuck about what that flamer said or what was he talking about, all i know is that usually when someone flame, the likelihood of victory is drastically diminished, that i why i would have reported you in that game, even if you wasn't flaming me specifically.

It's totally deserved, now you have to be careful and have better self control because next time it's a permaban. Here is a tutorial on how to disable your enter key when playing so you won't loose your account.

Definitely is justified. Using homophobic slurs in your ongoing negativity. If you continue this attitude, you'll immediately move onto your next penalty which is a permaban. Regardless of your intent, your words have consequences.

Funny. You realize IFS don't give a salt about why you acted in any way you did? Yes, you are 14-day banned for throwing out over 10 curse words in one chat session.
