Why are some of the LoL players so verbally offensive? Tonight I have had players 'wishing your mother dies tonight', they wish me the worse diseases they can think of, just because i lack experience with a Champion, because i get them in the game twice or whatever happens. If it isn't me, it's another player that gets similar words. It happens in almost (almost, so not every) game nowadays! Why?! Is it their testosterone? Do they think it makes them a better player? Does it make them feel better to wish someones mother dead?

I do not have the idea Riot is paying enough attention to these players. Perhaps Riot can show us how many users were banned for offensive messages?

I have learned that enemies whom are defeated and allies that perform a little less often try to make players respond with the same language they use, so they can report them and hope to get them banned. Don't fall for this and do not respond to their offensive words, ignore them. It is also possible to ignore all messages from these users. Just type /help in the game to see how.

Because this is 2016. the year where everybody gets offended by everything. They got offended by something small like a teammates whose inexperienced with a champion.

And because it's the internet, they responded with all the hate and frustration and depression they feel inside. In real life they're unable to express themselves in fear of being judged. They are Frustrated, Angry, Depressed.

The internet in anonymous. You cannot judge them, Not the real them. You can judge their username all you want but beyond that they remain unjudged, Safe from outside opinions.

Combined with being anonymous and angry about the things they feel they lack the power to do in real life, they lash out with words that hit harder than any whip, penetrate harder than any bullet, Words that hurt more than any disease. They're anonymous, You cannot judge them for the harm they have inflicted with simply words.

Once the game is over, they never see the person again. Never see the potential harm they caused by just saying a few simple words.

The game is over, and it's onto the next game. Ready to cause more chaos, because anonymous, and it's 2016 the year of being offended by absolutely anything.

You wonder why people are verbally offensive? Because when you queue up for a game, you get matched with 4 people that are essentially dependent on one another to reach your objective of winning. So you are helpless if you want to win if your draven bot decides to afk or feed. You are hoping that 4 other people are wanting to win when really it only feels like there is ever 1 other player trying. The reason people are toxic is 100% based on the fact that you lose as a team when some guy wants to try azir first time in ranked. Stop asking dumb questions.
