My boyfriend has been permabanned

We recently returned to League around August. My boyfriend's account was hacked and Riot helped him recover it in September. He is the furthest thing from toxic (unlike myself) and typically plays norms for fun. He played this morning but when he tried to login this evening he discovered he was permabanned. He never received an email explaining why and has since submitted a ticket. I am wondering if he may have been banned automatically due to being hacked in the past even though Riot helped him recover his account. We have a lot of money tied into his account (I've been mystery gifting him skins since Season 4), and honestly if remains perma'd I will probably quit permanently myself. The fact that no email was sent out makes me think the system just automatically detected the hacker from September and secured the account but since Riot helped recover it I'm not sure. Any idea guys?

Best option is to send a support ticket explaining the situation and any past problems, linking to those support conversations when his account was recovered (if you can find them). Ask nicely for information and usually you'll get some help.

What most likely happened was that someone got access to his account. Without logging in have him send in a player support ticket that's asking for account recovery. He has to be logged out to send in the ticket. Riot support can help get his account back. (If that's what happened)

He'll have to send in a support ticket so riot can look into things.
