Reporting system and next game

How is it that with all of the updates to the reporting system, there isn't something built in to prevent you from getting placed in a new game with someone you reported in the previous game?

There isn't going to be team chemistry and it's almost a guaranteed loss to be placed in a game with someone you just reported. People tilt and flame out and I've had multiple instances of feeding just to create a loss. I don't want to lose LP just because someone is mad at being reported and don't want to be punished for leaving when I don't want to play another game with someone. Seems broken to me...

You do make a good point. Although, I also feel like if they coded in a feature like that there would be a lot more instances of people reporting others for "low skill."

Because players will abuse it, categories players and promote hate towards others.

Also, I suggest that you change your views of this game. This game do not promote winners. It promotes teamwork, friendship and sportsmanship. http://gameinfo.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/game-info/get-started/honor/ http://gameinfo.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/game-info/get-started/summoners-code/

While I agree with you in spirit, I'm not sure this would work in practice. This problem is particularly important in really high ELOs, but players could essentially use reports or their ignore list to control matchmaking.

I agree it's frustrating to be re-queued with someone that was just reported in the previous game, but all I can say is that a workaround would be to wait a few minutes before queuing up again.
