I am sorry but I cannot support Riot and their decisions

As a player of multiple seasons, I cannot support their decision to put people in "lower priority que" or leave buster as they would call it. I recently had to update my drivers (after LOL let me log in with old drivers), and I got moved to the leave buster system as a result. I was super excited to finally use a high banned champion (zoe), and I could not use her because of the random update to drivers that allows you to que up but not play the game. I do not need to be reprimanded or held liable for last minute driver updates in order to play a game I play as a stress relief/and or down time from my personal life. If this continues or is a final decision of Riot and or its policies, than I can promise I will look elsewhere when I try and use my support dollars for advertisers.

If you are constantly failing to ensure that your computer is able to play League of Legends properly, you are wasting the time of 9 other individuals. There is nothing new. You are placed in Low Priority Queue (and it has been this way for many years) only after showing a pattern of not connecting to or leaving games - for any reason. The onus is on you as the player to ensure your drivers are up to date for playing League. Driver updates generally only happen once every few months - so even if you had issues with every single update you still wouldn't likely trip LeaverBuster unless you only played once a month or so.

you don't get leaver buster for 1 game of driver updates.

There has to be a habit of you leaving / AFKing games.

As Chermog said, if you are constantly in need of updating your drivers, then you probably should get it checked out.

The rest of your team does not need to be reprimanded or held liable for the poor state of your local computing infrastructure.

Your teammates are kinda counting on you to have your system in order, dude. Leaverbuster gives you incentive towards that.

Well here is an easy solution for you and anyone else with this problem:

Start a custom game by yourself check and see if it works. Added bonus you can take the few minutes and practise.
