I am sorry but I cannot support Riot and their decisions

As a player of multiple seasons, I cannot support their decision to put people in "lower priority que" or leave buster as they would call it. I recently had to update my drivers (after LOL let me log in with old drivers), and I got moved to the leave buster system as a result. I was super excited to finally use a high banned champion (zoe), and I could not use her because of the random update to drivers that allows you to que up but not play the game. I do not need to be reprimanded or held liable for last minute driver updates in order to play a game I play as a stress relief/and or down time from my personal life. If this continues or is a final decision of Riot and or its policies, than I can promise I will look elsewhere when I try and use my support dollars for advertisers.

If you are constantly failing to ensure that your computer is able to play League of Legends properly, you are wasting the time of 9 other individuals. There is nothing new. You are placed in Low Priority Queue (and it has been this way for many years) only after showing a pattern of not connecting to or leaving games - for any reason. The onus is on you as the player to ensure your drivers are up to date for playing League. Driver updates generally only happen once every few months - so even if you had issues with every single update you still wouldn't likely trip LeaverBuster unless you only played once a month or so.

I don't know. Any other game I have played has halted me from queing up from the game unless I had the latest drivers. I did pay those games a monthly subscription. I guess you get what you pay for.

That's not their job, and I have never experienced that having played many many games online. Your drivers are your responsibility. More than likely the manufacturer has software to auto update, or they tweet updates when they come, or something. I recommend looking into something like that so you can ensure your drivers work.

you don't get leaver buster for 1 game of driver updates.

There has to be a habit of you leaving / AFKing games.

As Chermog said, if you are constantly in need of updating your drivers, then you probably should get it checked out.

20 minute que time now because of it. Or, it could not start up or let you que up without the latest drivers. I mean, I just played yesterday with no issues. Today I try to play and BOOM 20 minute que time because of no warning. Its cool. I have money. I can just spend it somewhere else instead of on some place riot endorses. That's the beauty of being a consumer. I have money and riot wants it. I just will not support them or their sponsers.

Here you are thinking you are so smart. The truth is, they don't want your money. You being gone makes the community better, and they get to make more money with a cleaner community.

20 minutes is the max amount of time you can remain in the Low Priority Queue, which means that you have a history of leaving/afking in games. It's unfortunate that you're having driver issues but seeing as how this is a frequent problem for you means that the onus is on you to try to fix it so it no longer becomes a problem for you. I would recommend checking out the Troubleshooting Connection Issues page to see if it can help you fix your problem. I would also recommend testing out your new settings/drivers/whatever in a custom match so that you don't get penalized by Leaverbuster further. Otherwise from the Leaverbuster FAQ:

HOW LONG WILL I REMAIN IN THE LOW PRIORITY QUEUE? You will be placed in the low priority queue for 5 games. If you continuously leave, the low priority queue timers increase from 5 minutes per game to 10 minutes per game and then capping out at 20 minutes per game.

We understand that players may be forced to leave from time to time so the system has been designed to keep these situations in mind. After leaving a few games, you will be placed into a low priority queue; as long as you can complete 5 matchmade games without leaving, you will be returned to the normal queue. However, if you continue to leave games, you will remain in the low priority queue.

It wasted the other 9 other players time by letting my client load up with 1 day old drivers and than justified it by punishing me.

That's your own fault. It's your own responsibility to be checking the problems on your end, not Riot. So I suggest you fix your computer before you waste another 9 player's time. Till then, justice will be served properly by Riot.

My drivers didn't force an update. I loaded up LOL. I qued up, picked my champion, and it didn't let me load up until I updated drivers. Kind of crazy compared to me playing the day before....oh wait, now I have a 20 minute que time.
