How often to report?

Should I be reporting more often? Vi

So, first I'm gonna just say that I'm at about my limit playing on my own... Game after Game... Time after time... If I'm not playing to a certain level... I'm consistently being blamed for losing or sucking or w.e they decide they want. I've decided to only play with friends in a full party of 5 and block cross chat. What's upsetting is that it shouldn't have to come to that... I'm also very involved in the Rocket league community and its so much better than this. Its just sad in my eyes....

Anyway.. Should I be reporting these players for these kinda messages... I often forget to do so becuase I'm so upset I'd rather just leave the match before I get the chance to report them.

Thanks,

Sad Solo PlayerAmumu

You should report when someone violates the Summoner's Code. If you forget once in a while it's not THAT big a deal, but that's just one more game someone is going to be a dick to someone else before they get some feedback on how the community feels about their negative behavior (assuming it wasn't just a one-time thing).

I report people for trash talking the team and afk'ing and quitting and suicide diving on purpose to force surrenders and just generally being the type of people that you would never play a game with in real life. I think not enough people do report for this crap and then we get stuck listening to the toxic trolls all game. And if you mute them, you still can't mute their never ending ping spams that they do just to piss you off once they realize they have been muted. I just ignore it if I get told "you just have to tolerate them". No you don't. I tell my own wife I won't play some games with her because she is too bad of a sport. I'll be damned if I'll just sit there and take it from some kid whose parents neglected to teach them any manners.

No. You should not be reporting for the sake of reporting more.

If there are specific circumstances that make a report required, that's one thing. But not just reporting more.

Well, looking at your match history, you feed more often than not so your first step in lowering your "limit" would be to start dying less. If you want to report people for being upset that you are ruining their game, you can go ahead and do that as much as you like. They can't report you for playing poorly.

Sorry to hear your bad luck. The community isnt the best but not everyone is jerk. You should report anyone at the post game screen if you think they deserve it.

it seems like i report someone almost every other game. i figure the report system is automated now so there's no reason not to if people are acting like ass holes, just report them and hope they get punished.

not that reporting people seems to do anything anyways. i submitted a support ticket with full game video and screen shots of the chat where i had a guy trolling and saying he was trolling in the chat and went 0-28-1 but my client crashed in the post game so i couldn't report him. riots response was an automated message to use the in game report system to report him....... i checked back a few days later on his match history and he was still playing, still trolling ranked games, so riot doesn't really seem to care.
