Being Banned When Provocated

I Have just been banned after being provoked by my team mate and already was a bit out of myself due to having an already bad day so i was toxic and said a few things i shouldn't have said. It came like this when my team would not help me and i didn't say much at first but this thresh player on my team kept flaming me and when ever i died he would flame me, and flame and flame me again so this is where i turned and said words i shouldn't have. After this game i quit and when i came back it said to me that i was perma banned, at first i thought it was a sick joke because i first spent so much time of my life on it and it is impossible to recover it and secondly i had wasted a ton of money on that account. I Really hope Someone can help me with my problem where i was in the wrong due to someone else or at least help put judgement on this thresh player because he was the villain in the situation

I hate to say it but you should have just muted the toxics and tried to play to the best of your ability. I understand that you had a bad day, but this is not an excuse. The system forgives bad days, it normally takes more than one game to get banned (even if they only provided you with one log), and you'll never get punished with a permaban without any previous punishments or warnings, unless you said some extremely horrible stuff (Stuff that one wouldn't say, even if having a bad day).

There is no way to get the account back as it was not banned in error. If you reported the thresh, that is all you can do, and the IFS will handle it. If you post your logs we can discuss further :/

The most important thing here to remember is that if you’re having a bad day, it does not excuse you from taking said bad day out on other people.

You admit that you were toxic in the game. There is no further description or discussion needed or warranted. Riot punished you for your own actions.

The best thing to do in cases like these is to just mute, and report after the game. Don’t retaliate back - it solves nothing.

As the person above said, make a ticket with your logs posted. Then ask for your perma ban to a temp ban, give yourself cooloff time, make a smurf then practice the generic MUTE ALL, then slowly have 1 player unmuted then 2, eventually you will be used to ignoring chat and if someone is toxic just mute them. This new system does suck though due to the fact there aren't any human eyes to judge the case. riot makes enough that they should be able to hire a team to handle reports, the tribunal was a huge mistake and so was this system on 0 humans. Also as much as I hate to say it, even though they started it an eye for an eye makes the world go blind.

You got permad, that just means you had warnings. Riot don't gaf if you got provoked. They just want to wipe the server clean.

dont ever spend money on this game again, uninstall and never mention this game in the future to friends or family to deny them future $$

did you have a 14 day ban at all in the recent months? if so it's quite easy to have it escalate to a permaban

also, toxicity is toxicity provoked or not. by responding to the person you add to the conflict and possibly ruin the game for your other teammates, maybe the other team if its in all chat. you are responsible for your own behavior and that includes how you react to others. I am sorry you lost the account

I am sorry but there is nothing any of us can do, your best chance is to write a ticket at Support.riotgames.com and even then the chance of being unbanned is less than 1 percent.

I am sorry for the permanent ban.
