First I wanna say that I don't usually say shit that I mean. I don't wake up in the morning like, 'YEAH BRO LETS BULLY SOME KIDS" so when I get on this boring ass game to try and test my luck and try winning a game or two I cant even say the word nig ga... WHAT? hello? I USE THE WORD ON A DAILY IRL AND IN GAME... how is it racist? please explain how a fucking word on a screen can cause so much uproar that u ban people from saying it. call me a %%%%%, cracker, jap, zipperhead idc bruh u can say what ever u want because at the end of the day its just words. like im sorry that u are so fucking weak minded that you cant take someone calling you fat fuck, but tbh if ur getting offended by that its prob true. im getting heated again holy shit. If you do not see a point in playing a game without being able to harass other players and use hate speech freely, then you may not see a point in playing League, no. I would suggest that you find another gaming community more welcoming of the behavior you're looking to display, because League of Legends is not a place where that is -- or will be -- considered acceptable.

Remember that, for many of us, League is a fun game to play in our leisure time. Many of us do not appreciate being harassed, insulted, or addressed with hate-fueled language. It's not a matter of your words offending me. Instead, it's a matter of your attitude being one that I simply don't want to associate with during my relaxation time.

Riot has made it clear time and time again that the behavior you describe is not welcome in their community. You can choose to comply with that, or you can find another gaming community.

As an addendum, the word in question is racist because it is a word that has been used almost exclusively as a race-based insult for several centuries. While some social groups have accepted its usage in a casual context, that is not exclusive, and it is still a heavily racial-hate-based word.

You use it every day with your friends? Ok, what would happen if you walk up to a complete stranger and say it? That's basically what you are doing when you say it in game. Except in game you have no idea if the other person is black, white, or green with purple spots.

First off i want to say im sorry if i offended or "annoyed" anyone but i want to restate that i am NOT racist in anyway way shape or form. I think racisim is evil. I do, i swear i do. I didnt even write the word nig ga with evil or harming intentions and the post i wrote right after was me just letting off steam. Im not black and im not white so i dont want to hear bulls*it saying anything in that regard. I think that the word nig ger is if anything a bad word like a curse word but i do not see it as a racist term considering its 2017 and not fucking jim crow era. I get it it has history but so does a lot of other words. Now me saying nig ga shouldnt reflect low IQ or Racisim because i didnt even use it in a racist way. I said "nig ga im trash at zed i dont play him" even if it was a racist word i didnt even use it in a racist way.

Will i stop saying nig ga? most likely not because you people are getting offended but more for my own personal image. im not deleting the post because in the end thats how i feel. Im just so used to talking like that because i live in a pretty ghetto area and saying nig ga is like a common word and no one really cares. i dont mean harm to anyone im just a very blunt person.

League by the way is the farthest thing from a relaxing game, lets be honest no one comes home after a long day of work to play league and then logs off relaxed. If you truly have a problem with the way i speak then all you have to do is mute me. Why should i be the only one that changes or does anything about my speech when riot has a mute button? If you really really have a problem just mute.

Am i going to reform? yeah i guess so i like the game because like i said its like crack.

To summarize everything Im not racist, i think racisim is evil, and even though i dont personally believe that the word nig ga is bad ill stop saying it just so i dont end up getting banned because i spent money on this account. Thank you for reading and hopefully people will learn to just mute in the future.

I'd imagine if anything, it's kinda embarrassing if you have to use that type of language daily in normal conversation. It often reflects either a low level of maturity, or some type of insecurity around friends, family, strangers, so on. If the argument ever comes down to "I do it all the time" That's often the sign that it's actually the problem. And I hate to be the one to say it since two people should've -- Your parents, heck, your entire FAMILY, are probably ashamed that you degrade yourself to a lower level of self respect for all races, especially your own, by throwing in a term that was commonly used in negative connotation for many, many centuries.

People can preach "We use the word to take away its power". In reality, you using the word rather than letting it fade away, shows that it still has power, and that's whats sad. Those still using the word, especially to refer to one another in general conversation..they don't really deserve any respect for it. Pity is reasonably all they deserve, if you can't talk to another human being without using any type, whether typical or atypical foul language. Talk to any stranger out in the street like this or that, and see how they respond. More often then not they'll be off-put by it.

Enjoy the ban, since i'm assuming you got one. maybe take it as a signal that you should find another game to play where your 'normal everyday behavior' is accepted. Or you can actually change your behavior and grow in maturity and take steps towards being an adult. League doesn't tolerate this type of stuff anymore (finally), so you can change or move on. In the end it's your choice. Like you said -- If you don't enjoy the game anymore, just uninstall and find other stuff to enjoy that better suits your tastes.
