even if he had 25 game chat restrict before this, that log just isn't enough for the next tier

The system doesn't measure "severity" except in cases of extreme toxicity for skipping tiers.

Beyond that, the system works like a threshold - if a log meets a threshold to be considered toxic, the system will add it to their "history". If their history with that recent game (including games going back time and prior punishments/when they were) meets a certain threshold, it punishes again. If not enough time has passed to drop down a punishment tier, it escalates to the next level.

TLDR: It doesn't have to be enough for "the next tier", it just has to be enough for a punishment period.

except he only gave us THAT chatlog. while some of what's in there may be enough for a perma from a 14 day ban i don't see how any of that is toxic enough to qualify for anything...

can you explain?

like... those are the only ones that i would find illegal and i still dont think it justifies going to a 14 day ban if that is all there is

Again, it doesn't have to justify the level of punishment - it just has to justify a punishment and the system will move them up to the next level if they have recent prior punishments.

I see what you're saying and this could be the case. My account is very old and I have been punished in the past but I have shown drastic improvement over the years - kind of upsetting to get slapped with this over something so minor particularly when I had good honor.

well unless literally any sort of negative behaviour no matter how small "justifies a punishment" like in the case of a permaban froma 2 week ban, this chatlog doesn't justify it

Probably about his attitude of giving up, and indirectly blaming lissandra for it.

Mild toxicity over many games will still get someone punished. Regardless of which punishment tier they are at.

The reform card only shows 1-5 recent games of unacceptable behavior as examples, and it'll mostly never show all the games that were part of his punishment.

Riot does this as they found that people whom remember the games they were unacceptable in were more likely to reform. Instead of giving them a game from a year ago and they can go "this is not me, I never did this" cos they forgot.

Through the smites that Riot Tantram have mentioned before, mild toxicity over 5% of the games is alot already. So you can kind of gauge how the system is tuned.

No, I'm not going to search through Tantram's posts and find that individual post where you can find a clue.

The only thing I see is asking for reports (you only need one (yours); no need to ask for more, AND it is a form of harassment).

But, yea, if this is complete, I don't see much here...unless the "report" thing pushed you into the next punishment tier.

I have my doubts this chat log has not been edited but generally at the very least you have shown general negativity attitude ( punishable offence) and are criticizing your fellow players calling for reports even this portion of your log justifies punishment tier.

a good point to remember if you don't want tot get punished is ..

Reacting and adding a negative attitude , verbal abuse and offensive language is adding negativity to negativity.

That essentially makes you just as toxic for example as someone intentionally feeding.

If someone is legitimately breaking the rules in any way Ignore them and quietly and privately report them after the match .

There is no justification for "reacting in any way" to someone intentional breaking the rules , being toxic in any way.

Also no justification for ranting about any person grievance you have about the match.

Entirely unedited. I agree that I could have been a bit more calm here but I think 14 days is a little heavy handed. Particularly considering that I get told to kill myself every other game.

Their point is that those people don't get reported.. but they did report him.. it happens a lot someone can flame the whole team but no one will report them then when you tell them to stop suddenly your flaming
