Why I was being banned for being harassed by my whole team.

I don't get it, so basically I was playing a game of this suicidal game when I was not laning well against an Illaoi. So I get harassed by my whole team. Lux tells me I have pussy twisted-lips and she says in all chat that I was toxic and that she wasn't. A tryndamere telling me I was trash and unskilled. So I say something in all chat so hopefully the opponents see what I mean by a toxic team. And so at the end of that game I get the ban. So basically when you report someone you usually receive a message saying a bad player has been punished. So I reported them don't recieve the message but guess what YAY I get a ban. So really LIKE

WOW MIND BLOWN! Then I send a support ticket about why I got this chat ban. And keep in mind I don't usually get toxic unless someone is being a total Butthole. They Respond back

"Hey there,

We gave you a chat restriction because of your misuse of the chat feature. Negativity isn't acceptable in our game- your chat shows you're berating and insulting others, taking the arguing into /all chat, and calling for report witch hunts and passing blame onto others. This is not positive. We don't approve of players telling other players to "report X player" because it takes away from focusing on the game and contributes to a hostile environment.

The chat function isn't there to insult or berate other players, it's there to help your team with communication that pings can't do or be a positive force for the team. Bear in mind we view chat restrictions as a 'slap on the wrist' type of punishment to alert you to rethink how you're using chat, and to use it more positively.

The best course of action is to mute negative players using the TAB menu or typing /mute followed by the Summoner's name in the chat box. Then report them at the end of game screen so we can track their behavior and punish if necessary. Even if other players were being negative also, it doesn't give you an excuse to be negative in chat as well.

While communicating with your team will be reduced via chat, remember to utilize smart pings in game to alert your team mates about what's going on in-game. You may face account suspension if you don't choose to abide by our Summoner's Code in the future.

Alright the person getting harassed and more negative gets the ban, but the harassers don't. Hmmmm It's like getting bullied then you start crying and say something mean back, but then the principle suspends you from school and the bullies get away with what they did.
