How long does it take for ones account punishment tiers to drop back down all the way?

Simply wondering how long it takes until ill be able to use the hextech system.

There is no fixed interval here - if you continue to play with sportsmanlike behavior, you'll eventually get back into good standing.

Tier 4 isn't usually never. It's usually something around 100 years, so do not give up hope!

On a good note 9 months is way too long for anyone to bother trying to reform so riot's incentive to get people to stop being toxic is moot. :)

If someone is at the point that it takes 9 months to get back to neutral standing their next punishment is a permanent ban anyway. So either way their toxicity in league will be ending soon.

I guess. It sure doesn't give them any reasonable incentive to improve rather than to continue being toxic though. I guess its a matter of whether you believe in correction or punishment.

According to this Red post (also helpfully on the topic of hextech restrictions) there is no specific timetable for lowering your punishment tier. It seems you must play games and not have valid reports filed against you frequently in order to regain the punitive system's trust.
