How is this bullshit fair? Why on earth would he get a Ranked win after standing afk for motherfucking 20 minutes? He wasn´t even back when we finished the game. Seriously?

as far as i know, if you arent in the game when it ends you lose lp no matter if won or lost game.

That's incorrect. He did not gain anything from that win if he wasn't there at the end. I mean, I should know -- I've carried a game, disconnected at the end (literally last teamfight) only to find I wasn't granted the LP I earned. Unless they've recently changed something about it, and if so, then I deserve that free win. I think I still got the emails telling me I was screwed though.

First off, grats on winning a game when the odds were stacked against you.

As for the other bits, he lucked out.

Assuming he doesn't get caught by leavebuster (which marks even a win as a personal loss if you're afk or dc), afk'ing is an almost guaranteed loss for yourself. He's the common factor in all his games, so if he consistently afks, he will consistently lose because he afks. Which would tank his LP/MMR.
