Discriminating Against a Players Rank/ELO

Recently it has become more obvious that people use the excuse "I'm a higher rank than you so i know better". My question is even if there is no offensive language or racial slurs how is this tolerable. Too my knowledge I've never seen someone banned for this kind of attitude even when it gets offensive.

A recent game I was in a Camille jungle went on the offensive just because I pointed out she kept diving and dieing. She said all four of my pre-made are just stupid silver players who don't understand that is what she is meant to do, followed by how we dont know what map awareness is and how she has never played a champion yet she could do better on them then us. A second match with her and 8 reports (minumum) later and her account is still active?

Even if a player is doing bad does Riot ignore this kind of negative attitude. I've received no feedback from support so i want to ask all you people in the forums, is this behaviour allowed as long as there is no swearing or hate speech?

In my opinion.. its a valid point.

If you're a higher rank than someone (especially a whole division) then you are better than them at League of Legends in general. It hurts peoples feelings, but its really the truth. THE ONLY SITUATION where this isnt true, is people that dont play ranked. Obviously if they don't play ranked, then none of this applies. Thats what the ranks really mean though. Bronze 4 are better than bronze 5 players. Silver 3 players are better than bronze 1 players. If this wasnt true then none of the ranks would matter because you'd have people at challenger skill level playing against bronze 5.

But as for your question, it is not against the rules to say something about someones rank. IT IS however against the rules to be toxic to someone, which is 99% of the time that a persons rank is being mentioned. So camille could've recieved a chat restriction for being toxic.. But also if ALL SHE SAID was "My team is 4 stupid silver players" that really doesn't warrant a punishment. You cant have a witchhunt for one toxic sentence about someones rank.

If you're calling for a permaban for this then you're really insane. Because that is MAYBE BARELY toxic enough to warrant a chat restriction.

Another side note: One report is the same as 8 reports. They flag the game for the system to review. The system will distribute punishments as it sees fit. This is to prevent premades from ganging up and reporting the same person 4 times.

Another side side note:

You wouldn't know if she got a restriction on her account unless you were the VERY LAST person to report her.

Classic premades trying to abuse the auto ban system

I mean if they're a higher rank they probably do know more than you about the game lol. Whether anybody cares is a different question..

newsflash brah, the number of reports doesn't matter. 9 people could report him per game and it would still trigger the same review as 1 report. Maybe you and your premade should leave players alone and not gang up on him. We have dealt with premade abuse long enough.
