Champ select penalties

So I just had 2 things happen that make me want to walk away from league for a few days.

1st someone got filled jungle, and instead of taking jungle took the champ i had chosen for top lane and took my lane as well. end of game he was reported. Hopefully he is banned.

That alone wouldn't prompt me to write this, but the immediate next game I declare intent for my champ top lane, and bans roll around and two of my "teammates" complain and ban my champion because they don't want me to play that champ in top lane. Still salty from the last game I just took the dodge. But something needs to be done about this toxic behavior in champ select. Banning your teammates champ selection or stealing their role should come with immediate punishment. If I call Nasus top and someone on my team bans him for no reason the lobby should just remake and they should get the leaver wait time. Simple as that.

I shouldn't be tilted before the game even starts. So stupid. And they get away with it with 0 punishment because there is no way to report someone from champ select.

Riot please PLEASE figure something out

There are many things going on here. Both of these things happen. They're rare, and it's unfortunate they both happened in what I'm assuming was the same day. There was a very similar thread in a different forum, and it was discussed and concluded that banning a teammates champion is NOT gamethrowing or worth reporting. I personally find it just a little bit (sarcasm) disrespectful, but you can't undo a ban. You probably shouldn't go into a queue with the mindset of "I'm going to play X champion." That's probably what the guy in your first game was thinking.
