Can you please ease up on them so the game is fun for everyone? Getting clobbered for 20 minutes just makes you want to quit. ive suggested that before and literally got laughed at, but IM SERIOUS. we want competitive matches not buttstomps

No. The objective is to win as quickly, clearly, and decisively as possible while not breaking any rules (etc flaming, trolling).

You have a duty to your team to stomp the player as hard and decisively as possible in order to secure the win condition. That is all.

Anything else is unprofessional.

in normal: if someone is new, i'll teach him, poke him, show him what to do against me (i don't expect him to win lol but at least he learns. In ranked: I murder him everytime i can so it reduces the moral of his team and they're more likely to surrender if i stomp another lane thanks to him.

See I totally disagree with you guys there. regardless of it being.."ranked" or "normal", you are still investing your time to play the game. So..if you already know you're going to win..why not at least let the enemy build up a LITTLE or just leave them alone for a few minutes, instead of taking the advantage you already have and one-shotting them mercilessly. You know their team is flaming them at that point. And I guess this is meant for those players who normally play at a higher rank..but have other accounts and end up matched against us bronzies. Were bronze rank for a reason, we dont want to fight against platinum or gold players.

I don't agree, and not just because I'm a snob. Hear me out.

If players don't play at their real skill level, you actually end up exacerbating this problem. You WANT to lose against people who are out of your league, because you want to matchmaking to improve. If they make it a close match, they could lose, and then you'll continue playing against people who are way better than you. That's not good for anyone.

If you are getting buttstomped, there's a surrender button. I realize that isn't perfect, because it's still 15 minutes away, but that gives you the opportunity to fully embrace the buttstomping and get your team on board with ff (nicely).

If you are doing the buttstomping, the best thing to do for the other team, in the long run, is close it out as quickly as possible. Turn up the heat as high as it goes and end the game already. I don't see how easing up is good for anyone when you consider the wider ramifications.

I was in a normal game, and the enemy adc owned our adc, and made it a point to camp her so she couldn't farm anything. I called her out on it, and I was flamed, saying she was farming our adc just like a minion, and was going to report me for being toxic, lol. The enemy adc stomped us, (I'm ok with that), but she was intent on humiliating our adc, and had a "god" complex the rest of the game, thinking she was so good, when it was a result of our adc having a horrible game.

Imo, if it's a normal game, don't be that person. Especially if you're playing someone who isn't seen often. Instead, if your opponent is struggling, help them. They might be new to the champ they're playing, or new to playing against the champ your playing.

I had a game a LONG time ago, back when I used a wireless mouse, where my mouse died. I had said it in all chat when they questioned where I was. My opponent, who was the mid laner, could've used that time to push hard. Instead, she froze the lane and allowed me to try and catch up when I was able to actually join in all so the game wouldn't be her stomping me and an actual match.

We ended up talking to each other through out the game, giving each other tips on the others champ and build. As for the game? It was fun, back and forth. I don't remember who won, but I do remember that I enjoyed myself, which wouldn't have happened if my enemy was an ass.

I dunno.

If it's a norm, I'm down to cut them some slack in a "bad luck" situation. e.g. if the enemy jungler had a disconnect, I won't camp them (even though this would be a winning strategy). If the enemy support AFK'd, I won't fight the enemy ADC, and will simply let them farm.

In ranked, though, all bets are off. The stuff that happens to you this game is just as likely to happen to me the next game, and it's virtually guaranteed the enemy team won't cut me any slack. So, sorry, but I'm not going to hamstring myself on the climb. It's nothing personal.

OKAY well here's what I do. When we get -so- far ahead that its obvious we're going to win, I stop fighting my direct enemy except to defend a tower. I jungle alooot so it's usually farming monsters. If I run into the enemy jungler I'll spook them but ill let them go. Ranked game or normal it doesn't matter, I know they're stuck there for 20 minutes no matter what happens.

I dont end up on top like that very often though lol...so when I am i remember how pointless the game feels when it isnt competitive and interesting

Honestly nobody should have to hold back in a pvp game because they outclass someone else. The point is to snowball and carry as much as you can.

Holy shit. I can see why you were "literally laughed at".

"Stop being better than me", "Hey, let me win", "It's not fair that you have more skill than I do".

I can't even be bothered to generate a response beyond this... I'm dumbfounded.
