Why does the system only use chat logs from 2 games for permaban now?

I've had two permabanned accounts since August, and in both times, there were only 2 games used to determine I was toxic enough for a ban. I remember it used to be 3. Now they send me one game where I'm mildly toxic, and another where I'm extremely toxic, but being egged on by another teammate flaming and making the game itself harder on me.

When did we decide 2 games was enough to take an account away from someone that they've had for years? Especially when my last 14 day ban was months and months ago and haven't been chat restricted since.

Instead of complaining about the system, have you considered trying to be less toxic?

If I'm remembering this right, if your chat logs are too long, they won't send all three. But you can contact support if you want further chat logs from games that you received punishment for.

The punishment system uses ALL games a player received valid reports to make it's decision. The reform card features 1 to 3 of those games as examples of that player's behavior.

If you had a 14 day ban, that's Riot telling you you're absolutely on your last chance. You're supposed to be a model citizen from then on. Anything that would trigger so much as a 10-game chat restriction at that point gets you banned instead.

With two entirely banned accounts in the past five months, I'd have thought you'd have figured that out by now.

Do you guys not think a permanent chat restriction feature should be added for players who can't seem to stop abusing the chat system? Or are we content just preventing passionate players from playing the game entirely. Whenever I'm chat restricted, which hasn't been for many months, I always find I'm using the chat purely for game talk. I'll even stop myself from flaming because I know I will want to use the message for something constructive later on.

Thanks for all your input guys. I know I'm a toxic person, it stems from being overly competitive and not being able to handle players not trying their best in high elo games. I'm happy I got banned, it's more motivation to focus on my upcoming studies in January. Hope you all have a happy holidays, you f****ts!

it depends on your overall punishment history.

If you were toxic right away after you get off your punishment, the system would deem you to be "unreformable" and instantly punish you. Even if you just played one game.

If you played a bunch of games without being toxic, the system will be a little bit more lenient and let you get away with one game of toxicity.

Because the reform cards are only examples of the behaviour that is unacceptable so that you may understand and improve so you will not have to be banned.

They are not nor were they supposed to be an exhaustive list of the reasons you were banned.
