Glad to know trolls have all the power in this game and you're not allowed to say something as simple as calling them an idiot without getting a punishment, holy fucking shit dude that's pathetic.

I'd gladly report someone for acting like this. Honestly man, are you old enough to really have a League account? That temper tantrum makes me think you lied when it asked your age. If you can't act like an adult maybe you should find another game.

The 10 game chat restriction is the first punishment Riot uses. It's the first warning that your behavior is unacceptable, and if you don't learn they will keep punishing you. Riot doesn't want to keep every player around just because, so if you keep this behavior going long enough they will say "you're not welcome here anymore" and permanently ban your account and everything you have on it.

Thicken your skin a bit and take a good long look at how you were acting. Can you honestly say you're surprised you got punished?

Jesus, do you think it is okay to threaten people with the last sentence. You can literally leave it at "It is against the rules to insult people on the boards.". If you do have the authority to ban people off the forums you really shouldn't abuse that power.

Specially since he called him an asshole and wants to see when he gets 14 dayed or permaed.

This culture Riot has bred, has allowed to breed. Instigating is okay with passive aggressive tendencies but direct aggressive tendencies are not okay.

The "excuse" is pretty valid. Being upset is no excuse though. While wishing ban on him is harsh, with the way OP's been acting, I doubt anyone would want to deal with him.

No. That isn't how that works. How is it okay for someone to act the same way as someone portrays and be in the right.

If I do that in the game then I will get banned, but here it is okay to call him an asshole or belittle him? Maybe I wouldn't want to deal with him, I don't wish ill on others.

No. Belittling someone, insulting them and derailing threads will get you in trouble. Ask The Djinn. However, being a dick doesn't mean you don't have a point. Even if you're only being a dick through someone else's eyes like how Chermo and I are assholes in your point of view.

I don't think of either of you as assholes actually. I just think it is silly to say it is not okay to insult someone when that person is being insulted. Also, I am not belittling anyone.

I would hardly consider it an abuse of power to fully inform someone of potential consequences should they continue behavior that violates the rules, while giving them a lighter-than-standard "punishment" in the form of just a warning.

besides the fact that the system shows you 1-3 games (at max 3 games), it doesnt mean you got a punishement only due to these games. getting your first CR, the 10 games one takes quite a long history of toxicity. from now on, stuff will go way faster. from your answers in the comments i can tell you are the average person of "get a thicker skin you insult"

Do yourself a favor, don't say people deserve things when they believe themselves to not deserve it, it will only cause problems. I also don't care about his /all banter cause /all banter is basically there to get under your opponents skin.

I just did. Because regardless of you think or what you'd like to believe, he deserves it. Period. Nothing you can say will change it. Also, I never said to a permaban, but a harsher penalty he can reflect on. What you want to take out of context is no concern to me and honestly, do not care.

And he is already the problem. What you think and believe here is irrelevant and because this is a discussion on the board and not in the game. Also, your standards are also irrelevant here. Because the Terms of Use isn't aren't made for your standards but was made for the community. In general.

You're contradicting yourself because you responded to my comment with negativity. I was stating a fact directly to someone else, and you came to his defense with your attack thinking you're in the right with your insult. What I said wasn't a harassment, but denying a demand and disregarding your opinion.

Could mean 2nd penalty, 3rd penalty, or the 4th. You chose the most severe. Not me. Insulting people by telling them they're toxic based on their opinion while contradicting yourself is your own doing, not mine. You told me to do myself a favor, I denied that advice as disregarding the rest of the opinions you had. You posted on my comment, so expect a response. If you don't want a response, then don't reply to it.

I am not insulting you with my statement. My original statement is simply stating that you wish more ill on others is the same type of toxic behavior that happens in game.

Someone feeds and then wants you to have "x thing" happen to you for "y reasons". My statement afterwards is a very valid statement, when people are upset or clearly in distress it is a bad idea to instigate them further with actions or words. In fact, it is actually against the law if you think or understand what you say might instigate violence.

I digress. For some odd reason somewhere down the line everyone has started to witch hunt people have been chat restricted, 14 dayed, permaed and wish more ill intent on the said person. I don't know when this started to happen, I don't know how Riot condones this behavior, I do know this though. I have no idea why people post their restrictions/bans on the forums. They only receive negativity towards them.

Everyone has their own opinion. What you do and do not do with it, as I've said many times over, I simply don't care. What I believe he got should have been escalated, you responded to that opinion with negativity, because what I said didn't meet your standards. The only negative thing that been said, was your own response. I do and say as I please, knowingly this is a discussion since posted in the public. If the OP wanted to ask why I believe he his penalty should be escalated then that's a discussion between me and him.

Instead, you replied and judged my opinion as a person. Taking it out of context and insulted it because it didn't meet your standards or your belief. This is a public discussion and since you posted on my comment, I replied. You took that response personally as you did in my original comment. Which wasn't intended but I simply didn't care. Because what I said was for all eyes to see. I know what I say and believe will not meet all standards, but no rules were broken.

What you take personally, I really do not care. I stated what I believe and stated a fact. Trying to be a white knight does not work on the forums, especially on a topic of an opinion and standards.

What you're trying to do here is have me take back what I said and put you in the right. That's never going to happen.
