Can Riot actually temp chat ban people for just really unnecessary verbal abuse. What happened to the old days where people actually got chat banned for a certain amount of games. Bring it back so this wouldn't be happening.
What the fuck? Chat bans are still used constantly.
1.) You can't name shame on the forums since it creates toxicity. Either remove the picture or black our the names.
2.) Riot tried the chat ban -- it didn't work people just started feeding and trolling in games. We got rid of chat bans and they now just go straight to the 4 tier level of punishments. You can report those people -- the system now looks at both lobby and post game chat in addition to the in game chat.

How do u know they didnt get chat ban? Also thats extremely mild to get any punishment. I believe he said "bitch"?
Back in the old days I could flame all day and not get banned. Now that you whiners overrun this game, you can get penalty for the smallest shit, and guess what? there's still just as much toxicity
Also he's right, no matter how many times a fking arbiter or whatever comes in and says you can submit a ticket for reporting verbal abuse, tickets and screenshots won't do shit. I remember sending a ticket of someone spamming the n word and telling me to kill myself in post game chat with a screenshot and they said they don't handle reports through ticket
