Option not to play with younger players

My experience as a 30+ yo player is that a lot of the griefing and hate from other coplayers and enemy teams comes from players that are pretty young. Although I understand that you want to include all players, I really feel that the younger players are the mayor problem in griefing (but of course I understand that there are older players that are "bad" winners and losers aswell). I feel that it would be great to verify your age viia E-ID and be able to play with an older age group, and be rid with a lot of the teen hormones that makes us all want that last bad game to be the last of the day.

The game is rated T for teens. The majority of the players are teenagers/early 20s.

how can you tell that the majority of flamers are younger players? i had ppl behave like 6 but im pretty sure they were over 16. its like saying "all french players suck" you cant tell. maybe a french player just carried you but because he didnt say anything in french you dont even know?

Why would younger players not say they are older to play with "less toxic" (which may not even be true) players who are 20/25+ yo? Yes there are younger players who rage and grief at the smallest instance but most of the top tier players are under the age of 25 so queue times in higher elos would be ridiculous.

Younger people play video games more so than older people, dealing with less mature people is kind of par for the course when it comes to playing online video games.

It's fun to blame 'those dumb kids' for everything ( for many reasons, one of which is that it makes for easier one liners...) but you would be surprised how many of those kids are actually full grown adults.

The negative, "gg" after first kill, surrender spam, etc etc etc, have equal representation among all brackets trust me.

I would ask for proof, but Riot statistics are always shady, and besides, if people are like me, I always give random false info for companies who for some reason need various personal details. Anyway, my point is, you really don't have a whole lot of evidence to support your claim. Honestly, I don't know either, but from tracking various trolls in my games, I've found there is an equal distribution among all age brackets.

I think this might be a great idea, if for no other reason than to study toxicity via an age demographic. This should be one of those "Experiments" Riot used to do. Implement it temporarily, so we can all get some hard data instead of just speculation on the subject.

I wouldn't mind this as an option. I can select to queue in the standard player pool or opt for the 20+ age player pool. Sure, I may wait longer, but it might be with people who actually care more about winning. This may not guarantee I don't get trolled or waste my time, but it does more than anything else anyone has suggested.
