Restricted 1 hour before season ends

Thats frustrating! :P I kept playing flex,and premade guys were flaming then reporting me and now i got restricted,just an hour before i get my rewards.I dont believe thats actually fair,sicne in most of my games I was honored.Anyways,im not writing to complain,it was just a silly godlen thing that no one pays attention to.I just have to state that Riot must change the system that investigation players' behavior and I think most of the guys here will agree,becuase to not get reported you have to be lucky.In one of my games my enemies reported me while i couldnt even write in ALL chat (restricted).W/e good rewards to the unbanned comrades :)

Getting reported does nothing unless there's behavior that merits a punishment. You will not get punished for something you didn't do.

That's different -- having a bad game where you say something punishable and get reported is a different situation. Your initial statement seemed to imply that you could get punished for nothing if you got reported. My apologies. :)

Too much sensitivity.Ive been playing football competitively for years,and the language was way more harsh.I believe you should get restricted or banned if u say sth racist/sexist or that kind of stuff.But ok,the game must be for kids too xD

This is a common argument, but it's not really true.

A desire to not be abused or insulted isn't a trait unique to kids. I've done competitive sports for 15-odd years, and, although I do put up with shit-talk, I much prefer environments where it doesn't happen. It's simply rude and unnecessary. Think of how many people, for example, would find a new coffee shop or bar if one of those venues allowed people to go around telling other patrons how worthless they are.

Riot wants a friendly, approachable community where you're comfortable relaxing and playing a few games for fun. Weirdly, most people don't WANT to be abused or insulted during their leisure time.

If that's not to your liking that's fine, and I encourage you to find another game better suited to your desired behaviors.

Imo some trash talk even make the game more passionate and intense,which is an experience desirable by many.And as i said,UP TO A POINT.To call some ugly words "abuse" expresses exactly the riot's point of view in this matter.Oversensitivity.Which ends up to be funny like in my case i think."Abuse" is a very big word,i have been abused in school (bullied).This not abuse.People are playing,People sometimes are getting a bit hard.C 'est la vie.I accept my punishment,but i have to criticise that kind of thought.

Going forward, I would suggest you take some time to find other ways to do this. There is definitely trash talk that is friendly, yet still passionate. There are ways to trash-talk in a constructive manner, and it does not involve insulting other players. If you continue to act in the manner displayed here that restriction will very quickly escalate to a permanent ban, which is what I'd like to help you avoid.

Ultimately my opinion and yours do not matter -- we are, ultimately, bound by what the community feels is inappropriate as learned (and enforced) by the IFS. This behavior isn't tolerated, no matter what either of us may say.

The report system doesn't work that way. The system checks for one or more reports, not amount of reports. 1 report=9 reports in this system. Could you post your chat logs?

Reading over it, this is definitely a deserved (and fair) punishment -- this is three games of insults, including calling your teammates "retards," which the system doesn't like (not that it likes ANY insults, but still).

Quite correct! We players are humans, not robots. We (the player base) do not want to be on the receiving end of toxic player's temper. Whereas it would probably rolled off of the AI bot's backs if you "express yourself" to them ingame, we humans prefer not to tap into the range of emotions when we are insulted and harassed when we play this game to relax and have fun.

I gave you an up vote here, because I agree somewhat but not completely, and you seem like a very civil person in this thread (if not your chat logs.

I agree that people are not robots, that they are not all the same, and that you need to make room for them in your life. If I complained every time my brothers swore they would not visit me anymore, so I don't say anything about it and only cringe occassionally.

However there are certain baselines of behavior enforceable in certain settings. One example would be "order" in a courtroom setting, where only one person is speaking at a time. People making a scene or disturbing that "order" are removed.

In league insults are not accepted. You are not to say or imply negative things about persons, or deliberately decrease a persons enjoyment because it runs counter to the purpose of the business, which is to make people happy to stay in the environment and continue purchasing products and services.

Not sure. I'm not 100% confident in my accuracy to say exactly what is and isn't reportable/punishable in theoretical situations like this one. The long and short is that if you think someone is trolling you with malevolent intent, report it. If they're just playing a way you don't like, use your judgement.
