I just got permanently banned because of a toxic player. A toxic player got ME banned. This is just utterly ridiculous. I don't know if he had some power over this game, like being a riot employee, but seems weird. He said he'd write a ticket, just because he was mad at me for losing his own lane, then flaming the hell out of me. I got permanently banned over this one game. He started flaming me very harshly. I said pretty much nothing back, just that report him and that he will get banned. Here is my chat log:

Over this single instance, my acc got permanently banned. Where do I address my complaint? I've payed probably 100s of euros for this game. Not to mention my account is a decade old and I've played thousands upon thousands of games with it. This is not justified by any means. I'm a very positive player and people often comment my good vibes. I mostly start lobby with: Hello my awesome team. And since I've had my penalties over some last mistakes I've made in chat, I've made sure that I never flame anyone. Not even repeat what they said to me. Please tell me where to contact about this. There is surely some corrections to be made about my account.

You're correct. A toxic player got you banned. It was you. Nobody forced you to harass other players.

Well, I didn't. I got harassed. I told them what would happen if they continue several times. That is not harassment. The lines of harassment and non-harassment are vague it seems.

It's pretty basic human nature for a person who is being actively abused and trolled to retaliate. Riot labels understandable human behavior as "toxic" so they have an excuse to ban you, because they know you're addicted and will make a new account and potentially buy your shit back. Business is business.

No it's really not. You told them they'll get banned if they don't stop, but then you choose to keep on going and repeatedly asking for reports. So you in turn harassed them right back, and being you had been previously banned for a similar reason, the final punishment was set.

Well, so that no one forgets to report such a toxic player. The player in question was afk at the time I said that, so that wasn't harassment towards them.

Yeah, ofc I don't own any of it. But now that they've reclaimed my right to access it, and if my account is not unbanned, I should get refunded or transfer all the stuff I had the access to to another account at least.

When you go to movie you buy a ticket to watch the movie but if your rude you get kickt out and no refund cause you dint follow the rules. League its the same thing you buy the right use it but riot still owns everything.

The number of reports/game make no differenc.
if someone harashing or offending you its a personal matter hence noone else in the game are responsible to report someone if you feel offended.
report calling is AGAIN a form of harassment
there is no 4 if someone harashing you YOU report him/her and thats it no report calling jesus

What i wanna know is did you got a 14 day ban befor this ? Cause if you had a 14 day ban it litterly says its your last change and the next punishment will be a perma ban.

Yes. I did, over something that again, wasn't my toxicity. And I can't get reported once after a 2 week ban? How am I supposed to play the game? There is always some toxic people reporting you over their mistakes. This is totally unjust, and I sent a ticket to Riot about this issue.

It's not that you get reported, it's that those reports got verified and counted against you.

If you'd changed how you handled this at the 10 game chat restriction you wouldn't have gotten the 25 game chat restriction. If you changed at the 25 game chat restriction you wouldn't have gotten the 14 day ban. If you'd changed at the 14 day ban, you wouldn't have gotten the permaban. They all add up to where you are today.

Solid advice, but this is not enough, I have tried this. They will still report me for no reason just because I play a champ they don't like to see in a certain role. Like say ap amu jgl. Or teemo adc. Which are both legit champs/roles to play depending on context. In the most absurd scenario, no matter if I am the best in team, most impact, everything, the rest of the team loses game, I get reported. Because I played ap amumu or something people are not used to seeing, like teemo bot or mundo. This has happened to me several times.

This community is so narrow minded and toxic. I don't know what to do. I really like this game to unwind.

Okay. But if they report you and you muted them and didn't get lured into a fight, then you did nothing wrong and can't get punished.

Thats the thing they cant fals report you. Fake reports dont count and they cant report you cause you pick that champ as long if you try to win.

I also got my account banned for responding back to an actually toxic player. Sorry bro but riot doesn't give two shits. My advice to you is to not spend a dime on your new account, because that's the biggest reason why they're discipline system robot ai is automated trash.
