I NEED A LITTLE HELP!!!!!

So basically my account was suspended. Not a big deal it happens to the best of us but I started to research this a bit and got to wondering... why was i banned for two weeks off the bat? First i got some chat restrictions, and then another, and then straight to a two week ban. Mind you The thing says i was banned for toxicity but only showed chat logs from about 3 games. So in reality about 5 games I was toxic and got banned? FOR TWO WEEKS!!!! This is crazy even games where im not toxic which is mostly every single game i play, people can still report me and i will get banned because according to the support page, players banned by instant feedback cannot be unbanned under any circumstances. So what if people just report me for no reason? Do you only get banned based on accumulated reports? or banned based on how many reports you get over the course of about 5 games? Im not like upset or anything im just very confused as to how this works. Also I have friends who get very toxic in game but have never been banned or accumulated any infractions before, why is this?

Man... you have so many misunderstandings I don't know where to start. Is this really worth explaining or are you gonna live in denial.. hmm. Whatever, I'll give it a shot.

First, find how the punishment tiers work. That's easy to find and I don't need to explain to you. (And I'm sure deep terror nami or someone will come in with their copy pasted punishment tiers <3)

Showing the chat logs for 3 games does not mean "in reality" you were only toxic for 5 games. I've never seen/heard of someone getting more than 3 logs. They pick either the most recent games they considered toxic, or the most toxic examples of games where you were reported... not sure which.

As for your fear of getting reported, it doesn't matter. As long as you aren't toxic, which I guess is "mostly every single game" (which is just a contradictory statement in itself... mostly, AND every single? Which is it? Most or every single one?), you have nothing to worry about. Just don't argue with anyone, don't say anything even NEUTRAL in your own mind, because I wouldn't trust your judgement based on your post, and you will be fine. They just mean if you do get permabanned, it won't be overturned, not that every report against you will result in punishment.

As far as what you get banned for when it comes to toxicity, it goes by quality over quantity. Meaning, you could get reported every single game for being toxic, but if you're not toxic, those reports will not affect you and the people reporting will have their report weight lowered. I'm not sure how report weight works, but basically I think Riot takes your reports less seriously the more you falsely report people. Also punishments can be less severe, or more severe, based on how egregious your toxicity is. If you're using hate speech, bigotry, and wishing death/cancer on people, they escalate your punishment.

No.

It really doesn't.

Listen if you got a two week ban for being toxic it means you are very close to having your account terminated. The next punishment IS account termination and that doesn't happen to the best of us, it happens to the worst. So yes it kind of is a big deal and you should be very worried for the future of your account at this point.

Post the reform card -- it's the popup that appears when you login to League.

Simple rule for players on the verge of permaban: type /mute all

At the start of every game. Don't use the chat. Don't think about using the chat. Don't even ATTEMPT to use the chat in any way you assume is helpful; because I guarantee you lack the emotional maturity needed to interact with other people on this game at even the slightest hint of provocation or frustration. It happens to the best of us.
