Just got added by some random player and he said "wanna join my clash team your a good player" and he sends me a link and its the lol website login page but it's fake and when you put in your details he gets them. wish i can show you the chat but soon as i said "nice try" he removed me and the chat goes
so just be careful!
also anyway i can get the chat back up and ill post it here.

I've been on those scam pages they look exactly like the LoL homepage and everything with working dupe links and id rather know what the link is to protect my account than worry about some moron clicking it simply to get their account stolen even though it said it was a scam page

i'm glad he posted the link with a warning somewhere else it was a smart move to warn people he did them justice

This is a ridiculous metaphor. Seeing a murder's face isn't going to kill you, but clicking on the wrong link can screw up your computer.
It's more like putting "DANGER: DO NOT TOUCH" in braile. Helpful information to know, but you're already damned by the time you touch the sign.
If something's dangerous or potentially dangerous, wouldn't it be better to have removed the danger?

first how are they going to see the danger to get near it in the first place those people have seeing eye dogs and they wouldn't put it directly on the danger the would put it beside it or infrount of it NOT WARNING PEOPLE IS THE WORST POSSIBLE SOLUTION what if there was a monster in a cave and instead of putting a sign of where the cave is and what the monster looks like they just said "but wait we don't want people to have directions to that cave so lets just not post the Waring and what unfortunate soul that walks into that cave oh well at least people know there is a monster in a cave somewhere on this earth" and you cant say "well stay away from caves" because there are sometimes reasons to go in them to find archaeological evidence of people in prehistoric times this includes tombs too and i'm not going to argue over this if you don't want to protect your players by even showing them a picture of the harmful link that's your prerogative and if you somehow believe you are right for that more power to you good day sir.

This is the point. You can't actually click on the link (accidentally) since it's in the picture. You are being unnecesarily overprotective. Sometimes looking at your moderation I just wonder If you are just outright bored.
