Ranked experience in season 7

Hi guys,so I play league for some time now @3 years or so and I was stuck in silver but this season I got to gold 3,almost gold 2 and I got into gold while the kids from school got vacation and now that they are back,I dropped to gold 5.So what I am asking is if anyone else got this situation and how do you guys deal with it? It seems that when the school starts and kids play again this game,there's no way to have a proper team in ranked to actually play instead of just typing in chat that x is bad..that y flames and so on.It feels bad to have such experience..
