LITERALLY the ONLY game on the report. I get my lane stolen by an Ahri (who goes 1/18/1), so I suck it up and take support. The Elise and Ahri on same team, so of course Ahri is perfect.. even though Elise camped her lane, stole her XP and kills and allowed Ahri to fall FOUR elvels behind enemy Katarina

My Twitch was a typical all in at level 2 tower diver, yet I SAVED THEM MULTIPLE times, got 3 kills for them early while only myself dying once (because, again, Twitch does Q and tries to be sneaky.. while MY WARD in lake has picked up Tryn and I have red pinged three times.) i still "GOt me shutdown"

EVEN WITH the Enemy mid kata ahead four levels and Elise doing nothing ut Jungle (not ganking top Yas who was four deaths down by 9 minute mark) and not hitting bot lane tuntil 15:20 or so.. and only THEN to get ONE HIT KILLS because Twitch and I caught enemy under OUR tower for once... even with all this happening, and we were three towers down, We ended up WITH THE WIN.

THE ENTIRE game.. being harassed because I use smite in lane (helps when enemy tries to push with Cannons and with Relic shield can build quite a lead through lane pressure alone)... being told to get cancer and my parents should die and blah blah blah AND Elise LITERALLY NOT ENGAGING ONCE the ENTIRE games ( but oh how she get all those KILLS? SHE carried!) -cough- BLUDGING DOG -cough- I would die a bit, yes ( but still less then lane stealing Ahri ) but that kind of happens when you TAKING ENEMY TOWERS AND INHIBS TO DRAW THEM AWAY FROM YOUR OWN BASE.

This is really getting beyond a joke when you cannot even use chat to piss of enemy so they can make mistakes (half of the chat was in all, to enemy players) which buys you and your team time to get that gold and gear.

I have to cover for aks or feeders like Ahri and bludger like Elise GET THE TEAM THE WIN and I AM THE ONE who needs punishment?

This game went for over 40 minutes: I BARELY said anything and only when dead after making good engages and getting team ahead.

Why is chat there at all? WHy not just turn it off if morons can go on about getting cancer and other pathetic and petty insults UNPUNISHED when the people who are ACTUALLY TRYING to help team, instead of just use them for bait (for instance) can get reported because I use smite in lane, beat enemy ADC who sulks and throws in a report.. FOR INSTANCE

I don't really get what Australia has anything to do with you being very toxic towards both your and enemy team. Are you implying that people in Australia are all dicks with anger issues? Because I don't believe that.

Australia = Sledging... little different to what you describe.

What I am implying: we call our BEST FRIENDS EDIT*** "THE C WORD"***. A little a banter over an online game is nothing, especially considering how the regular (and so called veterans) of this game act in chat and in game towards their team. In this VERY game, I was told I should have cancer over half a dozen times, that I should kill myself twice and I should uninstall because I use smite in lane (even though won lane phase, easily).

Does it look like I respond to that sort of thing? Or does it look like I give up on trying to work wit my team and use the only weapon I have left: the enemy teams ANGER against them?

Or do I do what at least HALF of this community does and start flaming team and feeding before going afk?

Well, if I run a marathon, shooting my opponents in the leg would help me win, doesn't mean I should.

Yes, tilting your opponents is a strategy, but it still means you're a dick if you use it. And being a dick to other players is against the rules here. No matter the reason.

When you bargain for a cheaper price, when you are trying to persuade a friend to be a designated driver.. when you "argue" with your siblings over who gets the biggest piece of cake... Need I go on? Are these examples also examples of someone "being a dick" or just... I dunno.. a human being trying to live life without having to be sheltered from every little raindrop?

First of all, no professional chess player would ever tell their opponent "oh you useless noob, lost another chess piece". If they do, they would be disqualified immediately.

Secondly, getting into someones head is not the same as insulting them. It's learning their tactics, being 1 step ahead of them. What you did, was just a low attempt at tilting your opponent by being a dick to them.

Third, talk about extremes. You brought up talking to a sibling. Sure, talking to a person you have known your entire life is not different from talking to someone for the first time. BTW, this is also a sarcasm. With a sibling, yes, you can be offensive, because most likely your sibling knows you don't really mean it. Random person can't know if you are "just trying to win" or simply an asshole. I mean come on, you said that you call your friends in Australia "c-word", which is fine, me and my brother called each other worse. But do you really think you can just approach random person on a street and call them that? That's indecent behaviour where I'm from, which is punished by law.

Yes, there are "Offensive Language" laws but we can also walk around in public carrying a sign which says "F*CK TONY ABBOT" (our then Prime Minister)

EDIT: If you think that "professionals" would get disqualified immediatly for that sort of talk... try Youtube and search for Cricket Sledging or any football -type game or Hockey.. or basketball.. Maybe chess is a little different, seeing as even a slight cough or sniffle or ANY minor thing could be used as the "insult" or distraction that could ost the game, much like in poker.

Bit hard to do that sort of thing in a league game: you use what you are given, and especially so if only returning in kind in a COMBATIVE ENVIRONMENT

Edit 2: @ third point. I was just putting up examples; I notice you did not bring up the one when using the same tactic witht he stranger (Bargaining) which is kind of MY point: you are using this "tool" for nearly every exchange/interaction you have with ANYONE about ANYTHING.. just to a greater or lesser degree.

If I cannot use my WORDS to argue, what is left, other then my fists? ... oh... I should run to riot and cry to mummy the big bad man said some mean words? If that not pathetic (especially with the relatively mild responses I gave in game) I really do not know what is...

EXCEPT... maybe, people defending said behavior while not realizing the people AFKING and STARTING the trash talk and then losing while flaming THEIR OWN TEAM are the ones that making this community so pitiful and NOT the people just trying to win for their team.

And you know what? The enemy IS THE ENEMY. If they gonna be smart arses and put shite on my team YOU CAN BET YOUR HOUSE I'll do anything and everything to put said smart arses in their place. It's just a pity their mum... err, Riot thinks the widdle babies who start shite are the ones who need protecting instead of the new players like Ahri

Okay, I am. In fact, I have been in Nsw for 3 months and I never heard that sort of language. Australian citizens are one of the most polite people I ever saw. If you experience such language on a daily basis maybe the problem is you and your environment.

You're trying to enforce your own sheltered philosophy. There are many places that will kick your ass out if you're a dick. Pretending that every single avenue of life is going to tolerate your bad attitude is being ignorant. You have to abide by the rules of the establishment or don't be surprised when you're hit with punishments.

Riot kind of IS responsible for the current community in the way that regular/knowledgeable players can game the system to ruin new player experience while punishing people for even SLIGHTLY standing up for themselves

Each person is reviewed individually. If enemy did the same thing and someone reported them, they will be reviewed. Just because they do that, doesn't mean it's allowed.

Also, criticising your government is legal in every civilised country. Now personally attacking someone is a different thing. And if you think it's a good thing that in your country you can just verbally attack people and it's considered fine, you have a very warped idea of what good and bad is.

We can address Police the same way (if they are in a decent mood).

Not saying it is ok to verbally attack people.. but it sure as hell is to stand up for yourself if attacked.

I didn't bother to report them at end of game because it a game. If the enemy would of won I'd of not been reported by the sulky ADC ON ENEMY TEAM. MY team were good little bludgers and took the free win, why would THEY report?

  2. The mute button is there so that people don't have to see any further chat from another player. The existence of such a feature does not excuse poor behavior since people have to hamstring themselves of a useful tool. Which leads to...

"Pissing people off" is a valid TACTIC when playing against HUMAN opponents, as opposed to emotional zombies, because you can make the ENEMY ANGRY AND GET THEM TO MAKE MISTAKES. It's a valid a tactic that is aimed at winning any game (or war for that matter) that people play or engage in.

Again: I wasn't focusing my comments towards my teammates (except a couple times to Elise when she CLEARLY made efforts to get team killed so she could get better score (timestamp anyone?)

Even WITHOUT the mute button, I was not responding to their petty and pathetic comments, I IGNORED THEM, PLAYED FOR THE WIN and GOT THE WIN.

And I say again, this time a little clearer (because obviously being subtle and/or expecting people to read MY side of story before trying to be smart arses is a little too much for this awesome and helpful and friendly community: IT WAS ENEMY ADC WHO REPORTED ME.. because EVEN WITH SMITE I destroyed them in laning phase. How is MUTING gonna help with that, if you so smart?

Most of my games is either harmless chatter (like over recent events or movies), tactical talk, or just little 'gj's. It's rare that I see someone devote most of their chat to pissing someone else off in chat. When I do see someone say something rude, it's usually just some small quip at the end of the game.

That is nice, good for you, really. Pity that %99 of other players seem to have similar experience to me, even some of the most popular streamers and Youtubers can't seem to get away from this sort of behavior but I guess some live a charmed life or something!

Even with the abuse I copped in this game, I not report them. It's a game, who cares, not worth it. a LOT of people will just Mute ALL and not even notice it, which is a tactic that Riot itself promotes but which only allows said griefers to carry on unopposed.

Go see for yourself: 2 of the top 3 streamers on Twitch are either being abused or absuing themselves.

Check the chat from any Bronze to Gold stream. CHECK THIS VERY FORUMS PLAYER BEHAVIOR BOARD for far worse behavior over a far shorter game

The feedback system would pick 3 exhibits, I'm suspecting in the other 2 and perhaps the first one you were reported for the post-game chat more than anything.

When post-game chat get reviewed and is in fact the reason why a player is punished, for some reason the content won't be copy-pasted into the reform card.

You can always send in a support ticket on what exactly got you punished.

I know. As I was saying, when a player gets banned because of their post-game chat, for whatever reason the said post-game chatlog won't get post it into the reform card unlike in-game chatlog.

I am fairly sure the feedback system has to pick 3 exhibits for the reform card or at least attempt to, one can mostly assume the missing ones probably have something to do with the post-game chat.

As I was saying, you can check with Riot with a support ticket.

TBH: I not surprised. Riot OCE and my many accounts have never gotten along

EDIT: as for Post - game chat: when it just one or two people in there, why the hell should that even matter?

EDIT 2: not saying I have proof or anything.. but you not need 3 reports if you piss off Rioter on Alt account

While I occasionally experience problems with support ticketing, but I still sent a couple support tickets before so it's not entirely unusable.

I have just opened 1 tab, seems to be working for me atm. I did so by having the account logged in here on Board first and then navigating/scrolling ALL THE WAY to the top, at the VERY top left you can see a League logo called "Explore League", hover your mouse on it, and you will see a drop down menu where "Support" is located at the bottom right of the said drop down menu. The paged that opened up seems to work well for me, after I click on the "Submit a Ticket" sub-tab.

If you still experience problems before or after this point, you can try logging off and relog at the support page, and you may have to play around the language/region drop down menu as you do it I believe (not entire sure how I got over the previous problems I had with logging in for support ticket).

It just a pity I literaly have to leave my team to be abused and pray someone does report because, to be frank: I got better things to do with my time then report %90 of the people who end up in game and do nothing but cry complain and afk... Like carry said morons to free wins so they can be in higher teirs!

You make zero sense. You claim how easy it is to get people banned by "baiting them into defending themselves", blaming Riot for that, yet you admit that you do nothing to actually deal with toxic players.

Yes, some players do try to bait other players into flaming, but you know what smart players do? They mute them, report them and just go for another match. If you "defend yourself" by flaming, all you achieve is getting yourself banned. But ofc, reporting toxic player takes to much time, you have better things to do, like creating board threads about how you were unjustly punished and how it's Riots fault community is so toxic. Despite the fact Riot gave you tools to deal with toxic players, but you refuse to use them... because fucking macho!
