What are bannable offenses now?

I want to hear from actual Riot Employee. What is all considered bannable now?

According to these forums. I have come across a lot of misleading information. Here are some of the things I've come to find are bannable that I never knew.

  1. Arguments of any kind, civil or not, are against the rules. You can't argue. Gotta simply mute and say nothing if your opinion differs. I assume this can be game related or not discussions. (A Riot post on these forums said this.)
  2. Saying 'GG' or trying to surrender too many times is considered negative and giving up. Bannable. (Riot Support in email said this to questions.)
  3. Talking too much in game. "Spamming chat". Is considered a bannable offense.
  4. Telling toxic people to stop being toxic. Just supposed to mute and not respond. No matter what. I guess I should have figured this one. But it's not easy being told you should kill yourself, and your mom is a whore.. And simply muting them.

I always thought bans were for actual toxic people. Rude, disrespectful, and upsetting people. The really disgusting people that are simply horrible to everyone they meet/play with.

Since when is wanting to surrender? Talking too much? Bannable...

You're not going to get a specific, "here is what is bannable and nothing else", because there are endless ways to be a dick to other players.

So a general, "don't be a dick" is the rule.

  1. Arguments are fine, but you shouldn't be telling people how to play or insulting them if they don't agree with you.
  2. Trying to surrender is fine, but when that fails, adopting a defeatist attitude and play-style while the rest of your team is still trying to win is not.
  3. Talking a lot is fine. Spamming chat with useless drivel like constantly saying "GG" for 30 lines is really annoying.
  4. Telling people to calm down is fine. Fighting insults with more insults just makes you also guilty of insulting someone else. Two wrongs don't make a right or so I'm told.

-Harming riot's corporate greed -Going against their SJW propaganda -Carrying games -Hurting the feelings of who attacked you first for no reason also -Calling things with their own name -Stating that 2+2=4 when everybody knows it's clearly 5

Btw i never saw someone be banned just for saying gg et surrendering.

You just need to learn how to say things... instead of "Shut up" -> "You don't even have the right to talk to me" instead of "Don't be salty/toxic" -> "Try saying something constructive when you talk" instead of directly insulting back -> "Wich of these things does not apply to yourself"

In fact the tone isn't better at all, but you avoid using words that an automatic algorithm would search for and in case a real human looks through the chatlog its still unlikely he'd take action against you. I do it all the time and i was never punished for bm

Guess it doesn't matter in the end anyway.
