Getting Falsely ban for 3rd party program

I put my hard efforts into this game. I use to use curse as a voice communication tool, But learn that could of gotten me ban but why. It never gives me advantage in the game. why ban players because of form of communication. I read into that and lots of people been ban over time by it. I been playing 3 years have use curse in the past. but recently been using discord and skype. What should I do to appeal this ban. Don't want to lose my plat rank [slayer-jinx-unamused]
