I think that when someone afks they should have an explanation to maybe get out the lower queue. Yesterday that happened where i had to walk my dog and take out the trash and got punished for afking. Also i think reporting should be taken more seriously.Today i had a rumble who hated me purposely feed my lane to make me lose and we ended up getting destroyed because of a kid with anger issues.So altogether reporting should be taken more seriously because of how ridiculous people are.

Nope. The loopholes for that system is just...I could've left because I didn't like the enemy laner and said "Oh I had to take out the trash"

Unfortunately, Riot has to treat all leaves the same, otherwise people could make up excuses like their internet going out to get out of the punishments. With that said, Riot knows that sometimes things happen that cause us to leave the game, so they designed the Leaverbuster system with some leniency so you won't be punished for a few occasional leaves. A punishment is only issued when you show a pattern of leaving multiple games. So, if you got punished after this particular leave, it's because you have left multiple other matches in the past and this leave was simply the "final straw," so to speak.

It could work if all the players are fair, but most unfair players would just lie on why they left.
