Check Yourself Before You Flame Your Teammates

I just played a game where I realized how much hypocrisy exists beneath many flamers. It was a ranked match, I was playing as Ekko , laning against a Leblanc (my top counter) we had a MissFortune ADC who started flaming around my second death, and continued through the whole game and into post game chat.

It seemed her main problem with me was that I didn't ping MIA once about 5 minutes in, LB went bot and killed her. Throughout the game their ADC and Sup ganked me together at least 3 times, with no MIA pings from our ADC or sup. I could have called her on this but refrained myself, not wanting to add to the fire. She complained about me feeding early game, then I greatly improved late game, while she slowly began to feed. She complained to me about feeding LB, while I could still 1v1 her with out excessive challenge late game. I could rant on about her poor decision making, and excuse my points of poor performance- but that would be making a hypocrite out of myself, so I'll refrain.

I found this quote to be exceptionally accurate even if it is from quite an old book. My point here is to check your performance before you criticize your teammates' performance. And if you do need to call someone out at least make an attempt to do it diplomatically.

Why do so many people like to come to boards after they've had a bad game and describe it in full detail from 0:00 all the way up to the DEFEAT screen?

I am genuinely curious.
