Honor & Clash

Hey everyone, As a player, I can say that I have been toxic in the past, and could even go to say over a year ago, I was disgustingly toxic and deserved what I got, which was 2 permanent bans. But after receiving those, I have changed for the better, I don't really type in chat all that often and usually it isn't flame, its constructive criticism. An example of that would be if my top lane yasuo is against a darius, so I inform him that he may have a rough lane because he is considerably squishy to darius' base damage and that maybe he should farm with q and play back. In a game roughly a month and a half ago I lost my temper, and like a dumbass I called someone a retard, yeah I get it, sure punish me for that won't happen again, but I only unlocked honor 2 weeks ago and after 2 weeks of non-stop league to attempt to grind honor for clash, I haven't even reached level 1 checkpoint 1. Just wanted to hear some feedback on what the community and staff at riot think about maybe lowering the honor requirement for clash to level 1, because I don't think people with lots of punishments should be playing or people with 14-day bans, but I also don't believe that someone who loses their cool in a stressful game of ranked shouldn't be allowed to play some clash with his bois, especially when the smurfing account rule is in place for clash, which I have no problem with, but unless the account is within 2 divisions of your main account, then you can't play on it without it risking being banned for 6 months or something like that. If I could get some insight into what other players/board members might think about this idea, I would really appreciate it, I know I am not the only person that thinks a 10-Game chat ban is a little too harsh, at least on the clash side of things.

I put the above link to RGPS Skeletor saying that the system is harsh, not to get the system changed, but to open up the viewpoint that it takes a long time to climb in honor, and that during that time I think that players should be allowed to play in clash, at Honor level 1. Dishonorable takes considerably long to climb out of too, but that, unfortunately wouldn't be possible to open up, since those players are all 14-day bans or repeated offenses.

i mean I understand the honor thing but I have some friends that had a bad day here or there and got bans and restrictions and haven't made it back to honor 2, i wish they'd make it honor unlocked or something. just the basic of "they're improving"

Actually denying them to play a mode due to their toxicity because they agreed before they downloaded the game that they won't be toxic is a good thing. Because we don't want those kinds of players in our community, let alone in our games. If they want to earn and seek more rewards out of this game, then stop being a damn asshole. Not that complex and it only takes a certain amount of human decency acknowledge that this is just a competitive video game and be understanding with your team. If you can't and don't have the self-control then don't SAY ANYTHING.

So no, the system is fine and players should be more aware that their words have consequences. I could give shits about what that Rioter says. This is about our community taking a step forward to playing the game for what meant for. Competitive fun.

People aren't barred from Ranked for being Honor 1 or 0, so I don't understand why Clash is.

It is too steep of a curve to gain honor. I just feel that it needs to be easier, especially for first time offenders.

Same bro, I used to be super toxic on got my old account banned (Talonted Bronzie) and got a 14-day on this one. It's been 6 months since my 14 day, and I'm only at Honor 0 Checkpoint 3. Nowadays, the only things I type in allchat are jokes

personally i find it really dumb not allowing a part of the playerbase(and not a small one)not to play a major mode,if we go by this way of thinking lets ban all below honor 2 from ranked games too.im honor 0 and ofc im butthurt ok let us honor 0 in honor hell ok we deserve it but at least those who are honor 1 should be able to play,its not easy to go from 0 to 1 i did it back when the system was easier to climb and it still took some time,they are being way too harsh. either let everyone play it or make the honor system more forgiving.cmon we didnt commit a crime or sth,too damn harsh.
